OoT and MM are tied for me...
Ocarina of time was a much more epic game, while Majora's Mask was just a more fun game.

I have not played it yet either. Its the one Zelda game I really want to play but it hasn't came out on the VC yet.

Very underrated. In some aspects it's better than Ocarina, and in others it's not quite as good, but it ends up being about equal. Some people panic when they see the timer, but it's no big deal once you can go back and forth through time. I'd definitely recommend playing it.Cherokee_Jack
Couldn't have said it better, I love the masks.
MM has a lot less "popping up" of characters and enemies--further AI distance, and the textures are more detailed. It's a darker game than OoT was.  It is deceptively innocent while dealing with some very visceral fears and themes. Just go into the postman's room on the third day. He'd gone crazy with fear. Over and over you watch a small society breaking down as their doom approaches. From the very beginning your identity is stripped away--you, the hero, are powerless before this skull kid entity. All your struggles are reset after three days. No one remembers what you've done for them. It's a very interesting and deep game.
That said, I haven't even gotten to finish it. I bought and played most of it when it first came out, but was perhaps too young to appreciate it (I wanted the "cool" adult Link, lol). I recently played it on an emulator (this solves any annoyances with the save sytem lol) and got pretty far, but then lost the save file due to PC problems... I may pick it up again sometime.
I thought it was absolutely superb. Not quite as good as Ocarine of Time, but pretty darn close. The temples were much zanier and the graphics were definitely a tad better. The mask collecting was such a joy and the 3-day system was pretty neat. I used the Inverted Song of Time a lot to make 3 days last 6 or 9 or whatever it was, which afforded a lot more time to do stuff.
But yeah, fantastic game.
I didn't learn about the inverted song of time until my second playthrough, that was a bit frustrating >_>I thought it was absolutely superb. it's a great n64 game. I just didn't care for the time feature (my biggest urk is time counting down in adventure games). But urk asside, I did beat it, and it is a great game to play. Glad I did play it through til the end.GAMECAMILLER

I think you meant 'irk'.
