I think they'll be like they are now except we don't use discs, we have like a storage device housing all of our games as memory like in a hard drive, except it's not a hard drive. You basically buy and sell games directly from that. Or OR the games will be ultra realistic. Ex. in the sims you can put yourself in the game and replay your life basically by accessing your memory and what not. Or OR we ourselves will have virtual reality games where we are ACTUALLY in the game.
It will be interesting to see what video games will be like in the future.
In 1958, nobody would have predict what it has become. Peoples would most likely have ask around: What do you think Hollywood and the movies will be in 50 years!? Well, we know how much it "evolves" in 50 years, don't we?
Heck, even important peoples as far as the late 70 still think computers would be marginal forever.
Some peoples see UFOs everywhere, just like some peoples expect the 2000 to be very important and different...so I will not go in predictions myself. I have good hopes that it will be a LOT better, assuming I am still there to experience it (which is a wild guess, as it would put me 10 years above human male average life expectancy...yet, not impossible and...who knows what change we may, or not experience during that time).
Will we still sit in front of a TV/Monitor, that is a good question which, I won't even try to answer...as this medium may stay for centuries...or be gone in a few years, replaced by virtual googles or whatever, not like I am making that call.
