SNES is my second favorite system, the Genesis rocks, the N64 was awesome, and the PS1 was pretty cool. SNES really gets my love on this one though because I grew up with it alongside the NES, the Genesis came into the picture around the same time as well, but I always seemed to play the SNES and NES more.

I was always so damn jealous of my console owning friends when I was a kid. Some great memories of playing all of those consoles with them. Super Mario World, Killer Instinct, Golden Axe ( on both Snes and Genesis), Streets of Rage, Sonic 2, Rambo III, Turtles in Time, Shinobi, Crash Bandicoot and Metal Gear. We only had a Sega Master System II but it broke quite early (?!) N64 is the one that blew my socks off though. I'm still playing and buying games for it.

SNES- Don't own one, but it has some very nice games from what I did play.

Mega Drive -Good system , the sound can be a bit iffy, but games like Gunstar Heroes and Sonic easily make the system worthy

PS1- probably my favourite system, best that gen , really great RPG machine

N64- Good System, but not as good as the PS1 or Sega Saturn, still it has some very good games, like Conker's Bad Fur Day and a great version of Resident Evil 2

I thought that the Nintendo 64 was really pushing the bar with it's rich and smooth edged graphics. I still remember the day when my mother brought one home that she bought and playing Super Mario 64. My mind was a mess with glee. It was also the only console that I've ever wanted to develop a game for, but sadly I did not learn how to make games until the early days of generation 7... ._.

Chicken35

sadly, most people won't add it, either because they don't know enough about it , or slander it (usually without actually having played more then one game on it)

get all except the ps1 because the lasers on most are done with and you are better off with a ps2 or ps3 for ps1 games. the ps3 still has ps1 bc. you get the ps2s library along with the ps2 or a ps2 bc ps3 if your lucky. if you get a ps3 you get your ps3 titles and DLC games

SNES, Genesis, N64 were all some of the best systems ever, the PS1 was rather mediocre.

SNES - favorite RPGs here

Genesis - Favorite Beat em ups and my favorite Strat game is from here

N64 - never owned one, but I think I tried one in a shop once.

PS 1- memories of this are overshadowed by the PS2.

I liked pretty much all of them. The SNES had its great chunk of RPG's and beat em ups that I liked along with platformers. The genesis was amazing as well with its arcade ports and the Shinobi games. I love the PS1 because it just had so many RPG's to choose from it was amazing, and I still think it probably has the best RPGS on that system to this day. The N64 is kinda of ..meh in my opinion. It had a few good hits like Ocarina of Time , Mario 64 and Starfox. I know there are a few more that I haven't mentioned, but it isn't my favorite system.
