I am hoping around $200, but it will probably be a bit more.

$200 seems like a possibility, but I can't understand why all you people are "hoping" for that price point. Based on Nintendo upping the costs for the (i) and XL models, I can see it going anywhere from $169, all the way to $220. IF it reaches closer to the latter, I'm willing to bet that it will be bundled in with software. Perhaps 1 3DS game, an N64 remake, and maybe a psp style "voucher" for a 3d flick.
No way dude! 169...I think your getting closer with 220...the tech is too new, and its too novel of a product. The more I think about whats on the market the more I think it will cost more...but I agree I think it will come with a game in a bundle, I doubt a N64 re-make, (although fingers crossed for OOT 3D HA)... I think it will be 300 with the game.$200 seems like a possibility, but I can't understand why all you people are "hoping" for that price point. The DS was launched at $149.99, the DS lite at $129.99,and the DSi was $169.
I can't see the 3DS costing more than $220.

http://www.geekosystem.com/3ds-price-profit/....check out the link. The 3DS will be more expensive then the other DSs.. the DSIXL is 190...its not just going to be 30 dollors more. The tech is too new to be cheap

ehh...you're right. I hope Nintendo doesn't try to make too much profit off of this thing. It would deter a lot of people (including me) if this costs as much as or even more than a console.

AGREED.I'm going to say it'll be $200-$300. Any more expensive than that, and Nintendo runs the risk of it being a non-starter. After all, the average, not in-the-know gamer is going to look at price first and foremost. If the 3DS is much more expensive than the Wii, people are not going to look at it as a good value. A handheld system that costs more than the console!? What a ripoff!
Logically, I'd put my bet on $249.
