I heard it was going to be Pacific, if so I also want the same good gameplay but a better story and more defined characters more like COD4. Also, I had thought of how incredible it would be to be involved with/see the raising of the flag at Iwo Jima.gruntelite

That's an interesting point. It's amazing how not many WWII games were based in the Pacific Theater. Maybe the problem isn't WWII in general but just that they always focus on Europe.

The events in COD4, from what I have been told, weren't exactly a military and politcal success. I think the term used to describe what happened was "screwing the pooch" as Yahtzee put it.

True, but this is made up for the fact that it is very relevant and an accurate description of the preverbial cluster**** the US has fallen into. The story isn't the verbatim reccollection of the past 5 or so years, though it does paint a picture of where our country is headed and at right now.

The past is set in stone and history is written by the victors. Vietnam is irrelevant now and so I do not think we will see a Vietnam game for quite awhile.

A Marine Died in Iraq (British Marines) And a Apache With Full Crew (2 People) With a Two Soldiers on its Wings (VERY DANGEROUS) Fired Missiles into a compound where the body was.. The marines went inside got hte body Led it onto the wing and when they got there.. Something remarkable What Shows courage the Pilot had his head out off the window Firing his Uzis At the enemy covering when he could had hid behind a bulletproof glass.. That would make a great short missions (My Dads Met The Pilot Who Had the Uzi's)

That sounds like a awful idea. That was the major turn off for me in COD4, it was much too close to a western media fed view of the war in the middle east. Very one-sided and narrow.

Gimme a war game with some different perspectives. War is not this black and white.

Treyarch will do their own thing with CoD5, we can't change that. So we just have to be optimisitic about it and hope it's the best next-gen WWII game out there.

But as for Infinity Ward, I hope they do a couple of expansion packs for Call of Duty 4. Maybe another 5 hour single player campaign, (which would make the whole thing 10 hours long including the original) and some more multiplayer options.

i would like 2 see some more sniper missions like the one in CoD4

that was my fav mission out of all of the misions

Does "No WWII" count anyway?Really,CoD4 was a BIG step forward and I can´t belive that any WWII-Games can do the same without being a bit...stupid...the Level-System of CoD4 keep me playing again and again and I´m not alone with that.Actually everyone loves it.So why going back in a old,not-upgradeable Multiplayer?And if they do...in WWII???Hmm...we will see about that.

The other side is that I´m German and I can´t hear any German that speak an English even worse then Arnold Schwarzenegger.And I couldn´t take the ususal WWII-Game-Stuff with the super-american-patriotism anymore.How about something clever and not so damn annoying like "The lonesome Super-American-Hero angainst the pure evil german superdevils".It´s annoying.And stupid in every way.It has been so damn long ago and todays generation has nothing to do with it anymore and we´re happy about it,but many younger gamers don´t get it.

What do I want? I want Inphinity Ward to develop it, not Treyarch. :(

Future.. Present.. Past Warefare.. What About Something Different... Somesort off Time Traveling Adventure.. Imagine it.. SAS Troopers Move into a time Machine first mission.. Medival Times fight off a Whole army of swordsman and all that like troy and various.
