What Esports tournaments are you going to watch this year?

I'm a fan of Hearthstone Esports so I'll be looking forward to watching HCT World Championships 2019 and World Cyber Games 2019. The next stage of Overwatch League is also exciting to see! How about you, guys? :)

Does AGDQ count?

While I have noticed some people watch games over playing them. It's not really my thing.

Just the dota 2 international

OWL was good last year, but GOATs is wrecking it for me. Was bad enough to watch so much of it in Contenders and the World Cup prior to the season 2 start. I want to see Carpe solo clear a point with 3 widow bullets or crazy Genji blades from Libero, not big idiots bumping into each other with melee weapons and beam waving. Sometimes it looks more like an LoL team fight than a shooter. Terrible meta.

I have actually played the 3-3 and it can be fun to play because of the coordination required, but it's just not fun to watch. Take any sport you know and imagine it without its playmakers - no wide-recievers/running backs/qbs in Football, no dunking/3-point line in basketball, homeruns are outs, etc and you basically understand what watching GOATs is like.

Evo, plus as much of the Capcom Pro Tour as I can without ruining my sleep pattern. Gave up playing fighters some time ago but still enjoy watching.

I couldn't care less about the typical e-sports games.... but Speed-running I would watch as an e-sports event.
