What fighting game series do you want resurrected?

Simple question, what fighting game series/franchises would you like to see make a comeback in either a new sequel or just completely remade?

Primal Rage, great idea but poor fighting mechanics. I'd love to see a modern version of the game with a good fighting engine backing it.

Virtua Fighter, we need VF6 Sega!!! Love this series and after playing T7 it made me realize how badly I want a new VF. IMO it's the best 3d fighter ever.

Bloody Roar, been playing a decent amount of the 3rd game with my kids and it's a blast, would love to see another o e at some point.

Power Stone, loved the first one but sadly don't own it. Capcom needs to bring this series back.

I'd really love to see Darkstalkers come back with a new sequel.

Budokai Tenkaichi series ,I wish they did a remaster for BT3.

The two that came to my mind were Bloody Roar and Ehrgeiz:

Ps2 tenchu- fatal shadow.

Bloody Roar is the only answer I want to see again!

Bushido Blade.

Game had a very unique premise to it, the one hit kill and being able to disable limbs with surgical strikes. I've always wished to see another modern one, similar to Virtua Fighter, utilizing a variety of weapon types and based on actual lethal fighting styles from medieval Japan. It would introduce a breath of fresh air into a genre that are all variants on the same core formula of whittling down a life-bar, which has, IMO, long grown stale. Remove that and instead design a system that would actually model human anatomy realistically and focus on creating an intricate interplay of countering, evasion, and disabling/ending strike mechanics and techniques. Many samurai engagements in ancient Japan apparently only lasted a matter of seconds and I would love to see a game modeled after such.

Add dismemberment, some good blood and gore effects, amazing stages, mix and bake for one hour.....instant awesomeness.

Soul Calibur and Dead or Alive are two other fighting games to which I would love to see new sequels as well.

Star Gladiators and Clayfighters.

Bloody Roar is the first thing I thought of when I saw this question. I would love to see a reboot of that series. I have a ton of nostalgia for it.

Honestly, it should be Soul Calibur. As good as some of those other names mentioned are, Calibur took weapon based, one v one combat to a highly polished, almost perfect level in 2 and 3. No idea what happened to the series after.

Anyway, from the old KO Kings to Fight Night itself, I really liked the series. FN 4 is still my all time fav sports game and although Champion became too arcadey it was still fun and it sold more than EAs UFC rubbish, so why not a new one?

@soul_starter: Boxing has been on the decline for awhile now, not saying boxing is bad just there's no excitement in the heavyweight division, where as MMA has been on the rise (although it has slowed down a lot) so EA was beating on that trend for sales. We'll probably see a new fight night soon I would imagine.

Only played the second one but Samurai Showdown was great.

@vfighter: The narrative does not fit reality. Globaly boxing is bigger, it has always done bigger ppv numbers and like I said, teh FN games have sold better .EA bought into the hype like lots of others lol
