What franchises do you think EA has made better/worse

With EA taking over more and more gaming companies, I think it would be interesting to see what people think about gaming series that have been taken over by EA (this does not include franchises that EA has owned from the start of the series e.g. The Sims, Sim City, FIFA etc)

System Shock has been made worse simply because EA has the rights and does nothing with them. Command and Conquer was made worse by them at first but the last couple (Tiberium Wars and Red Alert 3) were great.

System Shock has been made worse simply because EA has the rights and does nothing with them. Command and Conquer was made worse by them at first but the last couple (Tiberium Wars and Red Alert 3) were great.

I agree with you on C&C. Haven't played system shock.Comic_Capers

System Shock 1 & 2 were PC games in the early and late 90's. They were pretty much the first true FPS/RPG hybrids. Think Deus Ex and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. if you have played those. The only place to find them now is on Ebay for assinine scalper prices. I missed out on them but hear many great things. EA has the rights but doesn't seem to want to put the first two out for Digital Distribution or make a third game. Being someone who missed out on them because I didn't PC game until 1998 and didn't PC game heavily until 2002, I am kind of wanting to play them.

Well it was good when it had no games. :P

I'm more a lover of the original C&C's, before EA got involved, so I'd have to go with worse on that one, though with progression of tech and genre it's difficult to say for sure, but in general I find EA to aid little and drain more... Not that I'm an EA hater, but when games like C&C: Generals (worse...) and Spore (worse!!!) come from ideas and franchises way better, there's something wrong...

Crysis was decent, but I think the three part story line detracts from the game and is and obvious ploy for more money...
