My favorites are The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, Pokemon go, Relax Gaming slot Ancient Tumble and The Aviator slot, that's because I follow DiceGirl Egle, she helps a lot with slot games, I also like to play chess a lot lately, it's not that popular but I like it a lot. I would like to read recommendations, have a nice day! :)
playing Resident Evil 4 Remake for Playstation 4 this weekend which I got the game off Walmart online from the local Walmart store just an hour ago and I just got the game delivered to my apartment just a few minutes ago.
Currently playing Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut on the PS5. Am quite enjoying it. Very much an Assassin’s Creed kind of game. Looks very nice, gameplay is solid, and the story is pretty interesting.
Going back to Crow Country this weekend to sweep up the remaining achievements. I like the game a lot and the map is great. Solid Survival Horror game.
I'm playing the original Doom. It takes me back to the time when video games were a lot cheaper to make, had more creativity and had no micro-transactions. Games were a lot more simple than they are now -- and that's quite refreshing.
@dracula_16: I want to start doom II. I played doom 1 back in the day to completion. But it’s a very replayable game, I’m sure I’ll play doom again.
Oh, you want to know what I’m playing? Imagine this… I’m in the heart of ancient China, surrounded by mythological beasts straight out of legends. I’ve taken on the role of Sun Wukong, the Monkey King, and every step I take is a test of survival and wit. From battling gigantic demons to mastering shape-shifting abilities, I’m constantly caught between breathtaking action and the lore of gods and immortals. The visuals? Absolutely stunning. Every swing of my staff feels like it's tearing through the fabric of reality itself, and the boss battles? They’re brutal, yet so satisfying. So yeah, I’m just casually battling my way through the world of Black Myth: Wukong, unlocking secrets, and trying to stay alive.😪
Yesterday completed Mass Effect 2 Legendary Edition or rather replayed it again after many years of playing the original. Um, it was worse than its predecessor. The only thing that was going for it was the combat.
I've been playing Need for Speed with friends. But one of them shared a not-so-well-known title: WHAT the FUN, something similar to Fall Guys. According to what I was checking, they have several active events, but the one that caught my attention was money for the steam wallet. I'll share the link they sent me, in case anyone is interested:
Got such a huge backlog on both Xbox and ps5 starting playing a bit of need for speed heat liking it so far. On playstation I'm playing turtles arcade game on the collection.
Mass Effect 2 via the Legendary Edition. Harder then I remember and am playing on easy difficulty. I should have done Mass Effect first then went in order.
Darksiders lock-on is lame because it locks you out of the camera. Why do developers keep getting this wrong? Let me circle around enemies and move sideways and backwards, but don't bring the cam closer and lock it down. I'm not using the lock-on much anymore because of this. Even without, the game automatically turns you around with a hard auto-target when you attack. Why is this so common in 3D action games?
Has scripted finishers with the right face button. Big red B appears over the enemy and then the character does something sick, something wicked, something exxxtreme. Meh. Wouldn't put that in my action-adventure.
Because it's basically a whole different game from when I played it, going back to Day's Gone to give it a fresh-go.
Played the game around its original release, and I didn't like the game. At all. In truth when it first arrived on the scene it was called a "Survival Horror game"; so I went in expected something along the lines of what Survival Horror games are. Resident Evil 2 Remake was hot at the time and instantly became a modern standard for the genre.
So... yeah. DG was basically everything I hate about tedious repetitive open world games. For me was Assassins Creed with zombies with some Uncharted sprinkled-in.
*Update* I gave up with Day's Gone. It's just so boring. A few hours in and called it quits. Playing Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare instead.
I'm playing the StarFederation. The game focuses on resource management. In the beginning, I found myself in the red because of loans, having built many buildings that subsequently ate up all my resources. As a result, the game stopped. We had to destroy buildings and wait a long time to accumulate basic resources for the production of building materials, which were sorely lacking at the start. I cannot but agree that this game requires an analytical approach. If you make a mistake, you'll have to figure it out yourself. Advice for beginners: do not build all types of buildings at once, otherwise you will face problems with their maintenance.
I’ve been playing Tycoon Capitalist Idle lately. It’s still pretty niche, but I really love how simple the interface is and the gameplay totally hits the spot for me. It's really decompressing when watching money rain down everywhere. Is anyone else playing it? Would love to chat about it.
WoW is still probably my favorite game, all these years later. The ongoing 20th anniversary event will probably hold my attention and delay my progress in Khaz Algar for the next couple of months.
NBA 2K17 offline my-career mode. It's bad. My 65 char is basically doing all the work in a team of 75-85 overall players; the opponent team is always better. Is this nonsense the same in current NBA 2K games?
I've always loved racing games, and recently I discovered the Traffic Rider mod APK from www.trafficriderdownload.com. It’s an unlocked version of racing game, offering a huge collection of bikes to choose from, and various missions to complete. I’ve been hooked on this game for the past few months and would definitely recommend it if you’re into these types of games!
I am currently playing Legend of Zelda Echos of Wisdom, Conan Exiles, Dinkum, Wayfinder, and of course Street Fighter at school. (I am the Guile champ at school!)
Started playing it and loving how amazing this game looks on PS5. Definitely having a blast with it as I never been a fan of JRPGs or Final Fantasy games. A bit challenging though I believe this can be the first game in the series that I beat.
Played Crazy Taxi again. The original map, as usual, not the circular arcade map, which is far harder, has more choke points.
2021, Steam:
Today, Dreamcast emulation:
Played in 4:3. It's fine. You see everything you need to. I like how the creators worked around the absence of a second analog stick by circling the cab with the camera when the driver drops off the passenger, allowing them to see other customers that might be around. Your right thumb is way too busy putting the car in reverse and drive (for various tricks) for a camera anyway. Even for a while after the second analog became common, developers understood the problem and worked around it. Now almost every game has you working both sticks so much that those actions that were once activated with your thumbs are now activated with your index fingers. For what? Two buttons instead of four, and one of them (the trigger) depresses too much to replace what the face buttons used to do. Great.
Bored of the same map. I've known the two maps for 24 years or so (though there was a very long period between the loss of the Dreamcast and my playing the game on a computer). Would have been such an easy series to franchise, had Sega only not been morons with 2 and 3. Sequels should have other punk rock songs from the 1980s and '90s, not the same ones. Crazy Hop was lame, made the cars wobble up and down all the time and let you get up to places that should have been accessible only with ramps. Made it easier to avoid crashes. Sega must have looked at how much players were crashing and wanted to give them an easy button. There was a nice balance to the original: use boost and lose some control or drive slower and steer carefully between traffic for extra money. Fairs with multiple customers complicated the formula, like the police cars in the new game definitely will.
Can't imagine why arcade wouldn't sell anymore. That's what I keep hearing. Not like lack of quarter deposits prevented these games from being released on like ten systems. If you want rankings, just make that online and tie a replay to every score (The first game already remembered your highlights during the credits. Replay would take up very little space because it would remember where the characters and objects were and then render them again, just like a racing game replay.) so that other players can make sure the person didn't cheat.
Add good physics, three maps to start, then make more content over time.
Making the new game some massive multiplayer always online thing spells failure. That market is already dominated by a few shooters that players won't want to leave for taxis. The most that I might have added is a versus mode in which no more than two players compete for customers. But even that might have been too chaotic.
Maps shouldn't be massive. I ignore the arrow a lot of the time because I know better how to get to the destinations. I won't remember destinations if the map is massive.
@warm_gun: I've actually been thinking about buying Crazy Taxi 3: High Roller for my OG Xbox collection. I never played the original.
Speaking of the OG Xbox collection, I've been playing a lot of Panzer Dragoon Orta. (it's a whole lot more difficult than I remember) Well, a lot for a full time employed middle aged adult in the holiday season. (so, like a whole almost two hours on my last day off) I have Outrun 2 otw in time for my next day off, so! Probably that soon.
I never made it far on GameCube so playing it on Switch definitely brings back memories. The only thing I hate is the sideways camera and getting confused with the map. Took me awhile to find the bomb upgrade though should definitely use a walk through.
Music in 26 year old Sonic Robo Blast sounds better than most modern indies. Probably partly because back then they didn't consider indie as some badge of honor, knew they had to put in effort regardless.
Not my first time playing it. That was a few years ago. Didn't quite make it to the end that time. Think the last level or almost, because it was all metallic.
Beat the Planet boss and got the bomb upgrade. Now looking for missles to my upgrade capacity on them. I can never get used to the controls for Samus. Like I forget which button is the ability to transform into a ball. I am pressing them all as I never played a FPS on Gamecube/Switch before. Plus the Pro controller feels awkward especially the shoulder buttons. Should just use my BattleBlade GameCube controller as it's in the GameCube layout.
Sonic Robo Blast, in Black Core Zone now. Once again, the amateur designers lost their heads, weren't reigned in. So many weird obstacles that are confusing in the moment or need some kind of precursor to prepare the player. Have to take a lot of it slowly, so not really Sonic, and there's a problem of depth perception in places, actually being able to discern what is ahead. Feel more mixed about the music now, although some tracks are pretty good.
Beat spec ops the line really enjoyed it gripping stuff at times good story and memorable characters. Brought WWE 2k24 during black Friday so playing that.
