Let's say Gamespot gives a game a 3.5, but you liked it. Which game would that be? For me it's Diddy Kong Racing.

I had a fun time with beer and Spawn: In the Demon's Hand for dreamcast and I know GS rated it pretty damn low.
Recently the guy that reviewed NWN 2: Storm of Zehir was a bit off the mark IMO
I wouldn't say gamespot disliked it, but they almost completely ignored gears of war 2 in their GOTY awards. I thought it should have won best graphics, best shooter, and should have at least been nominated for GOTY.
Too Human
Tenchu Z (come on you could make your own NINJA!!!)
LO
forgot to add Conan as well, that game was pretty fun but got to much frak for being a GoW clone (even though conan could so pimp slap that emo Kratos).
Skies of Arcadia: Legends. Gamespot gave it a 7.5 and I give it a 10. They scored it really low mainly because it was a remake of the original and even though it was better, that 7.5 goes out to the people who own a dreamcast and probably wouldn't want to play it again. Legends on Gamecube was my first experience with the game.
Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask. Gamespot gives it an 8.3 and I give it a 10. I'm still scratching my head over this one.
I think for the most part gamespot is accurate and they are still saying that Legends is good and Majora's is great, but I find them both to be perfect. that's my only real complaint.
metroid. they gave it something like a 5.3! it was a very poor review. he really didn't discuss it in depth and it wasn't fair.
Odin Sphere, Skate and Mirror's Edge. Three games that despite supposed "short-comings" deserved to be in the 9.0's for their beautiful, compelling (Odin Sphere), innovative, neat (Skate), incredibly innovative and unique (Mirror's Edge) content.foxhound_fox
ugh, odin sphere. how can you make a game just out of button mashing? that game was so monotonous and while the art direction and graphics were beautiful, the story was a bit cliche and well it was just generally boring.

i wanted to like it... it was oozing with quality and i like how they did the graphics; it looks like they use 3D meshes and then plaster the sprite art on top, kind of like in howl's moving castle. it's technically very smart, but you have to admit there isn't much variety in the combat sections, despite combat being a lot of what you do; it felt like a grind. hitoshi sakamoto's score is pretty though (especially the spider battle in the underworld), but i prefer his vagrant story compositions.
