Some games are brilliant, but never get a sequel (often because they sold less than brilliantly). What games would you like to see sequels of?
Personally I'd love a new Billy Hatcher game. That game was so upbeat, silly and unique.

Front Mission 6: Give me a proper FM sequel and not shitty spin-offs like Evolve and Left Alive. While I do know there's no market and demand for it but with Square-Enix's hype power, it will sold well.
Fable IV: The best action RPG game I ever played before most people obsessed to make Dark Souls clones.
XCOM 3: 'nuff said.
There’s quite a few games that I’d love to see a sequel to. Some of those are:
Well obviously Half-Life 3 would've been awesome... but that ain't gonna happen.
But atm I'm really craving a sequel to Mario Odyssey. And Katana Zero.
Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order & Infamous: Second Son, both needs a sequel.

HL: Alyx is the sequel you been asking for. Go play that.
Sleeping Dogs I can't believe it's been almost 7 years now since it's original release. I still go back to this game at least once a year. There's just something special about it from the Hong Kong setting and likeable characters to the great combat system. It's a damn tragedy that we will probably never get a sequel since Square is garbage these days and only cares about that Avengers game.

I don't know if you know this. There were plans for Sleeping Dogs 2 and sadly, United Front Games who develop the first game was shutdown and killing all hopes for a sequel we'll never see. United Front Games had huge plans for the sequel before they got shutdown and I far preferred Sleeping Dogs over GTA series if I'm being honest about it. That fight system gameplay is what really stood out and I wish GTA had something like that. (And its a reason why I don't wanna see GTA6 until Rockstars add something NEW, not the same old gameplay)

Yes, I knew about that thanks for sharing though.

No it's not... not unless they release a proper non-VR version.
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. It's one of my favorite games of the gen but it underperformed commercially so Square Enix has put the sequel on hiatus or even pulled the plug entirely according to some rumours.
same with dishonored 2. bewildered why it didn't sell well.
The Order 1886.
genuinely curious, why?
I enjoyed it thought it had a decent story looked great and played ok. There's been worse games with sequels.

After playing both Dishonored games wish I knew about them more during release. While they're buggy as hell and weird A.I. the level design and variety is fantastic. Killing actually having consequences is also pretty cool.
From a marketing standpoint something about Dishonored art looked like The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, so had this 'knock-off' vibe to it upon release
I think that's the original reason avoided the games. I had enough Skyrim the first time around, and mistook Dishonored as DLC for TESV, and even after I just assumed it played a lot like Skyrim.
Think Bethesda just did a terrible job marketing the game(s) as a distinct IP that separates it.

decent story and looked great i can agree with. played ok? maybe the bits it actually let you play uninterrupted were ok. ish. the rest was riddled with qtes, cut scenes and fighting with the game to keep control. there were glimmers of potential in there but so many issues to overcome i wouldn't have faith they could pull off a decent sequel

i never noticed that before but i see what you mean! and totally agree bethesda did a terrible job marketing the games. d2 in particular. appreciate the style of game, stealthy immersive sim, is a bit niche, but the effort in design and mechanics, and the evolution from the first dishonored, deserved so much more.
even prey, which i wasn't a huge fan of, was a botched marketing job. don't even get why they called it prey when it had nothing to do with the 2006 original.
dude i'm so glad you enjoyed them

I guess the majority of gamers are just not interested in immersive sims or games that require creativity and attention to detail. Same thing with Prey and Hitman. Both were critically acclaimed but didn't meet sales expectations.
Front Mission 6
You earn my respect, my friend because you are the only person in this thread to mention it besides myself. Sadly it will not going to happen anytime soon due to lack of demand and more importantly Square-Enix's current attitude towards turn-based games in general. Screw Square-Enix.
NASCAR Rumble, Rise and Fall, civilizations at war, Urbz, sims in the city (GBA/DS verson), Sims 2, castaway, Gladiator Begins, and Girls und Panzer dream tank match. (But please Namco Bandai, please at least let me download a U.S. version of the Girls und Panzer game instead of having to import it.)
