A game that has presented a world I would love to live in would have to be the Elder Scrolls series. As for a game that drew strong emotions, it would have to be FF7. I don't want to ruin it for anyone who may yet play it, but when that certain character dies you can't help but feel torn.
But in the end any game where I can rectify any mistake or problem, including death, by a reload would be good.
My question is what game were you so into that you actually wanted to live in the world where the game was set and be a part of it. I would have to say that the Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask made me feel this way. I loved Termina and all the characters that lived in and out of the town. I dont know why I loved it so much.moptopskate
I agree 100%. I was completely captivated in this world, almost emotionally attatched... it felt so alive, for its time.
Since then, I would say: Shadow of the Colossus, for its amazing ambience of solitude; Deus ex: Invisible war, for the combination of music and scenery for an amazing mellow atmosphere; and silent hill 2+3, for so many reasons that can't fully be explained here.
