Silly question but it's interesting to think about.
I think if I had to pick one it'd be the Sly Raccoon franchise.

Senran Kagura or Sengoku Basara. I just love Musou style game. I have so much fun to return to them from time to time to play the characters I like.
*sigh*
I like so many games_
But it's Monster Hunter. Always liked the series since I started gaming seriously, 4G took it a step further and is a masterpiece, and while World is light on content compared to previous MH titles still puts most games in the industry to shame; that will also change with the added monsters (will probably be called Monster Hunter: WorldG by 2019)
It's the series that keeps giving. Brimming with content, excellent level design, great fuse of Single-Player and Multiplayer, colorful art direction, and addictive combat.
Probably Elder Scrolls. Can be modded into many types of games....
I honestly want to say Dark Souls but the games aren't quite big or wide enough to make me feel immersed. They're like Metroid Prime, the game feels big but in reality is a series of small corridors connected to one another. If Dark Souls world was more....open, I'd instantly say that series...
I would pick Mario. This would give me a large library with plenty of variety from platforming games (both 2D side-scrolling and 3D open-roam) to racing games to sports games to party games.
Warcraft.
Yeah, it's not my favorite but the franchise is built to last. WoW alone still has 5+ more years (I'm being conservative with that) left, then hopefully we get WoW 2 sometime around 2030.
There's a lot more to be done with the franchise. With their latest foray into action games, I imagine Blizzard could make an action-RPG Warcraft game.
