This can be ANY game; even if it briefly showed (or didn't EVEN showed) anything along the lines of zombies and all that stuff.
Mine is Resident Evil (GC), and after that comes Resident Evil 4 (GC).

SILENT HILL 1-3 Are the Scrariest. I still remember a scene where that nurse who came out of the room got blood pouring out from her eyes.....and when the silent was turned on the environment in the scene changed.
No other games could make me that scare.

I didn't think Silent Hill 2 or 3 were scary at all. Once you realize how lame the enemies are, there's no reason to be afraid. Which one had the walking door? Blah...
With that said, most games don't really scare me, but Resident Evil 4 had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. Also, like the original poster, the Resident Evil remake got more than a few jumps out of me. Damn crimson head zombies!!! So fast!!!
Honorable mention: Zombies Ate My Neighbors. Laugh if you must, but the levels with the chainsaw guys terrified me when I was younger.

The crimson head zombies where my top priority to avoid when I played that game. I rarely saw them, because I took my time to burn the dead bodies ofmost the zombies I killed as well as avoid the rooms where I had no more kerosien left to do so. But when I DID see the crimson heads... wow. Also what scared me from that game the most was probably the zombies that would jump around a corner or burst through a door from out of nowhere... and my first time seeing the brief "jill sandwich", shamefully, scared me... slightely...

Oh, and, when I played the first SilentHill, (and this was when i was a little kid, keep in mind) I was fairly scared...
I cried.

When looking backward The enemies are stupid...Yes I agree. But this depends on some factors.
1. Place that you're playing it
2. How many people were all together?
3. The environment?
4. Timing? Was that night time...Quiet?
5. Were you reading Walkthrough when playing?

No. i beat the entire game, no walkthrough, and I mostely played it at night. I even beat hard mode without any walkthrough. The shadows and lighting effects made it all the more likelyer to make me pee in my pants whenever the zombie came right around the corner and killed me. And I was by myself... In the living room too, so, that was pretty scarey, yes it was.

Your welcome. It contributes to the original posters question. Unless I miss read the question and he wasn't actually seeking info on what games scare you the most.

Just making sure you weren't one of those people who feels it's their job to point out duplicate topics. We're good!
