I started damn young, but I'll have to say Super Mario 64. The game that got me into hardcore gaming was Tony Hawk's Undeground, since its the first game I went all the way with. I unlocked everything, beat it on the hardest difficulty, and didn't cheat, it was a precursor to playing games like CoD on Veteran difficulty, and I also played it online some.

elite on the BBC micro. i was very young and couldnt quite understand it...but i knew it was something special and enjoyed it when i could last longer than 5 mins. perhaps i shouldnt have been so...well..aggressive with the police when starting off :P.

i had an atari 2600 with a few games but what really turned me into a gamer was super mario brothers....MAN! i faked sick MANY times to stay home and play my mario brothers! ....AWWW MAN! i LOVE gaming...

Super Mario Brothers. It was the reason everyone had to own a nintendo, and is still the reason that older people refer to all video games as nintendo.

It was a combination of Mortal kombat, Killer Instinct and DOnkey Kong Country.

And there's a special place in my heart for The LiThat was the first game I could ever call mine.

I wasn't really much of a serious gamer until FFVII came along. I think it was the combination of a well-crafted story, memorable characters, compelling gameplay, and beautiful cutscenes that made me fell in love with the game.

Pitfall on the 2600 was really the first game that really got me hooked on gaming. It wasn't until Super Metroid (SNES) that I found complete satisfaction in a gaming experience.

Hmm, well the first game I played was Sonic the Hedgehog, but that didn't really get me into it the way I am now. I would say the original Quake perhaps, but then again, I got out of gaming from about 1999-2001. Max Payne got me back into it for a while, but I didn't really become the hardcore gamer I am now til I bought my PS3 at launch.

I played a bunch of computer games as a kid, but I can't really remember any titles. The first Sims game got me way into PC gaming. I actually didn't get a console until the 360 launched, and Dead Rising got me way into that. I had a handheld (GBA) before that, and the Harry Potter and Pokemon games had me hooked.

There was a few games that influenced me since I went in and out of gaming phases growing up... GameGear Shinobi SNES Super Mario All-stars + Mario Kart + Street Fighter II Turbo N64 Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time + Super Smash Bros PSX Ridge Racer PS2 Dynasty Warriors 2 + Final Fantasy X If it wasn't for these games, I'd probably be doing a lot more lol

I remember playing Sonic the Hedgehog 2 for Sega Genesis like crazy when I was really young, if only I had my old Genesis again... I would probably still play that game :)

Resident Evil 1 I remember playing it maany years ago. I would walk through a door, hear the sound of a zombie moving and then go back through =D I swear, out of the 3 to 4 hours I played that in a day once I spent most of it in the main hall, going in doors then coming back out =D Also there was another game... one on the Sega Mega Drive. I can't remember for the life of me what it was called but it was something to do with aliens...

I think it was Super Mario and Duckhunt on the snes at my cousins house, mere months later I got a sega with Sonic 2 and I was hooked.
