Which game did you play so much, that you had to leave your console on for the longest in one period of time.
For me it's actually pretty recent, and happened just today. It was with FFXII, and I was playing from 12 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Urbz for the Gameboy Advance, I reckon.... or maybe Disgaea & Disgaea 2 (which i played end to end like a slavering, obsessed junkie :D) .... but there are so many contenders, especially RPGs ;)
Other known suck-in spots include :
Resident Evil 4
Devil May Cry 3
Atelier Iris
Arc : twilight of the Spirits
Star Ocean 3 : Till the end of time
Eternal Darkness
:)
:D Naaaaaaa na na na na na naaaaa na na, Katamari Damashiiiii....
The original was never released here, but I reckon that the sequel is excellent !
I have found that it's harder to sit down to and play a large chunk of in a oner, in quite the same intensive way as I did with the RPGs I've mentioned, but many whole days would go by with 'We Love Katamari' being delved in and out of all day.
well Technically GTAIII because it was the first game i got for ps2 and i didnt have a memory card so i left it on for ages like a week or two until i finally bought a memory card.
but if you mean the longest game i left on while playing it would have to be Canis Canem Edit (bully) for ps2 i played from 6p.m to 6a.m 12 hours straight i played it all night while my cousin played computer Those were some good times.

I'm surprised your PS2 didn't overheat. That's a long time to leave on a system, any system, and expect it to not overheat.
I was owned up pretty heavily by Tales of Symphonia.....
Man, i love that game.
I'd been lending it to someone for the last year and a half, but i just got it back yesterday ;) so now I'm all excited, and wanting to play it again heh
Back when saves didn't exist, and few games had passwords I would commonly leave my NES on got a week at a time.
In terms of longest period of time actively playing one game without break, probably Civilization 3 for the PC. For consoles I think the honour probably goes to Super Mario RPG for the SNES.

Civ III is awsome.. I had a 6-8 hour bus ride to Ottawa once, and a buddy had lent me this old 486 laptop with Civ I on it. That bus trip FLEW by. What an awsome game. III is still a great game as well. I should reinstall that puppy...
I played SNES's Lufia 2 with Ancient Cave Quest for straight 15 hours. I failed to reach 100th floor.
I played Playstation's Xenogears for straight 10 hours before my Playstation's rotor died.

Yeh well i was young and stupid (still am) and had no respect for my ps2 Lol.
FF12. I foundout about the self lvling farming spot in some ruins where this one boss infintely spawned his minions. Decoy on vahn and the rest attacked him. I left it on for 7 hours while at school.marche27
ditto for here, but I left it on for about 2 days... for the Frederick guy that asked for more info, just google it, youtube it, or search the FFXII forums here. it's very easy to set up, and it's not really for farming, just leveling up automatically, and it takes a good 10 hours or more to do any decent type of leveling.
