games that you cant anymore simply cause its either a ghost town online, or its online has been shutdown.

no new graphics, no new updates, just the same game, full a full community of online players.

what game would u love to see this happen to?

id personally love to see splinter cell chaos theory. no other console game really captured the cat and mouse, hide and go seek style of multiplayer gameplay, and i spent countless hours playing that with my buddy late into the following morning. if that damn HD remake had the multiplayer, i would have had an evilgasm in anticipation for all the pwning i would have bestowed upon my fellow players... *sigh* what could have been :(

I don't know if there are people online anymore, but Battlefield 1942 was my favorite online game of all time. The dog fighting in that game was intense.

Shadowrun for me, I loved the abilities. No idea if its still active, but I doubt it. It was really cool though. Unfortunately, it was full price without enough content.

WarRock, the best FPS ever. I played it for about 2 years but then it got laggy and it got «infested» by hackers and cheaters and that just ruined the game experience.

Syphon Filter the Omega strain. To get 100% missions you HAVE to play online and you can't anymore.

The first Metal Gear Online. I had a blast playing it, and I prefer its map designs over MGS4 MGO's.

I think these developers who shut down their online games should release them publicly so that we can pick them up and run them on our own.

You can still play RSV2 online. The community is still very much alive

Star wars Battlefront 2, Chaos Theory as well. Call of Duty 3 is almost completely dead yet i still think its the best in the series. Would love to keep these games going forever.

Hmm, last time that I checked, there were only a couple of servers up. I'll have to install it again when I get my gaming PC running again tomorrow... Thanks :)

Definitely Socom 2 and Delta Force 1. I would play them to death if they had a good amount of people playing them again.

Good idea. I didn't have a good enough connection to play the first MGO. I would have tried it if I had the chance.

Socom Fireteam Bravo 2 on the PSP. I had some amazing times playing that game, and met some really cool people. It was great too because I could play it practiclyall night, something i couldn't do with consoles.

For me, it would either be Vanilla WoW or Halo 2. I was really into both of those games, and the expansions and games that came after never had the same feeling.

What? Bfbc2. Once the Bf3 beta hit it was dead, nothing but snipers and chopper whores on maps populated by no more then 6 v 6. Why? Cause Bf3 isn't as good as Bc2... Period.

Resistance: Fall of Man. It was the best multiplayer experience I've ever had. Very well structured, balanced and fun. Sadly, not many players are playing it anymore. All of them just flocked to COD games... It breaks my heart.

Came in here to say this. MGO1 was boss. Kinda ironic considering Konami announced today that they are shutting down MSG4's MGO... Guess I can add that one in too come July.

I don't know what you are talking about, I don't have trouble finding a full 32 player server in BC2 even at 5 in the morning.

For me, it would be Lineage 2. Ofc, it's still going, and quite strongly ever since it went f2p, but I just wish I had the good old Chronicle 4/Crhonicle 5 days back.

Return to Castle Wolfenstein, best MP FPS in gaming history in my opinion. I'd give up every singe one of the games we have today to go back to playing that game again.

Hehe, I see I'm not the only one that has correlated memories between music and World of Warcraft. I listened to my own music every single second that I played WoW, and I played it quite a bit. I don't play WoW anymore, but when I listen to albums now that I used to listen to religiously while raiding and PvPing, it gives me chills down my spine because it reminds me so much of WoW. Like one album reminds me of Vanilla, another album reminds me of grinding and questing in the Wetlands, other albums remind me of raiding in Icecrown Citadel, other albums remind me of etc. etc...

If Zipper/Sony re-released SOCOM 2 with updated servers and anti cheat measures, PSN or Disc copy I would buy it and throw all of my other multiplayer games out the window.

Tabula Rasa. I bought this game, enjoyed it for a little while, and then it died. Now I just have the box and there is no way to use it. It's really too bad because it was a fun game. I enjoyed the pve sieges, I remember patrolling the walls with a pistol at my side, feeling badass. Then the horde would come and players had to work together to repel them. Really wish something would be done with the game, even fan private servers would be cool.

I would like to play Modern Warfare 2 online again, but unfortunately nearly everyone that plays it now is either a camper, a noob or a hacker. If I could have a fair match, MW2 would be awesome.
