Like most people, I really liked Bioshock, so are there any other games that are similar that I should try out?

System Shock 2, it is Bioshock's predeccessor, and a modern masterpiece. The graphics are quite dated, but it is still scary and gripping, even today.

Apart from system shock 2, you probably won't find a game like Bioshock that's anywhere on the level that Bioshock is.

I can see where you are coming from though, I really liked Bioshock too and didn't want it to end.

Fiscope's right. If you can find it, System Shock 2 for the PC is a classic. Graphically it's very rough, but you'll get over that eventually.

It's true. Played the game for the first time about a year ago, and even with the dated graphics, I jumped quite a few times. In fact, I think it's the most I've ever jumped from playing a game. So it's still pretty effective as far as delivering the scares.

call of cthulu, dark corners of the earth. its alot more realistic; there's no hud or anything of that sort, and it's ALOT scarier with a better story. only downside is that the graphics aren't as great as Bioshocks. (but good nonetheless.)

I'd agree that Deus Ex shares a few similarities, mostly with character customization and such. The original is much better than it's sequel, though I'd say the sequel is still very much worth a play through. You can get a good deal for both on Steam.

Looks like System Shock 2 is out because it's only for 95/98/ME and I have XP.

What about Manhunt 2? I keep seeing commercials for that and it looks like it could be similar. Anyone played this yet?
