This is absolutely ridiculous.... I mean is the game ever going to come out??? Square hasn'y even released a new trailer, or even dropped hints of it's continued existence at e3. They have enough time to port 13 over to the xbox360, and to continue development on 14 which will probably ironically arrive on time.... but they can't seem to finish versus... wtf???? does anyone have any idea what's happened?
Square Enix are more concerned with making marginally better graphics than the competition and including cutscenes with pretty boys and Japanese melodrama, than they are with making fun games for gamers.
So it'll be a while before this game releases. As well as possibly being ported to other platforms.
i remember SE saying that it was having a lot of trouble making full on cities in ffxiii, which is part of the reason why theres so few of them in the game. however, they have said that those types of things are being included in versus, so im betting that and other design challenges (like a world map) are the biggest holdups.
