[QUOTE="eregol"] I can imagine Microsoft doing it.
They have taken pretty much everyone else's idea.
Motion controllers coming soon.
Quiz game already done.
Singing game on the way
Avatars = Miis and Home.
Tell me when they get their own ideas someone?

Every company copies off their competition. That's why things like rumble packs, analog sticks, and wireless controlers have become industry standards. And really if they can do it well does it really matter who did it first?
Yes, it does. First of all, M$ has been stealing ideas since the 80's, but I'm sure there are already countless threads and websited dedicated to that topic.
Anyway, when copying goes unabated, bad things can happen. When a company with a ton of money comes in and steals a smaller company's innovative ideas, they can offer essentially the same product at lower costs (or in the video game industry, with better hardware specs), and advertise the hell out of it. The result is that the bigger "copycat" company drives the smaller, more innovative company out of the market. Do you think that is a good thing?
