Same, except on PC. I was scared poopless. My PC sucks goats right now and won't play ANY games but when we upgrade I'm totally downloading The Ulitmate Doom and playing it again.

The First Doom for the PC. Still one of my top favourite fps game. And I like to note thatthe second FPS that I played was Blake Stone: Aliens of Gold which came out a week before Doom did I think.

Doom on the SNES. Was pretty scary at the time as it was more immersive than a lot of games I was used to, but was good fun and I liked the music. Most old FPS games (such as Wolfenstein 3D which I got on PSN) make me feel nauseus and give me a headache that lasts the rest of the day, but for whatever reason, Doom never did.

Never really got into the whole FPS thing, but still play Unreal Tournament every now and then, and occasionally the odd single player FPS game.

XIII for the PS2. I was never really interested in FPS games.

Mine was Wolfenstein 3D on my friends PC back when I was 10, it was the most amazing thing I had ever seen back then (you could shoot hitler in 3D!! what more could you ask for back then ;)). I played GoldenEye for the first time around the same friends house 8) went out the next day and picked up an N64.

I'm pretty sure it was Goldeneye N64.

Maybe quake for N64. I'm not really sure.

Wolfenstein 3D and the Marathon games were amongst the first I ever played.

wolfenstein 3d. there were a couple shooting arcade games and technically they were first person, but its not what most people consider fps.

I played the Ataris and the Neses and the SNeses but my first ever FPS was MOH on PSOne

That game blew me away on how real the soldiers acted to ever body part you shot at..(and plus the helmets flying off was an awesome sound effect)

Its graphics are sore but the fact is is that they did amazing with the gameplay...it is soo smooth even to this day

...that I owned: Black for the PS2--I've never been terribly interested in FPS's.

Doom 2, my best friend had a PC and we shared the controls, he moved i did the rest... it was strange but i didn't have a PC, only consoles at the time so... as soon as i bought a PC (it wasn't easy to save up money at the age of 15 :) the first two FPS i really loved was Rise of the Triad and Quake...

Quake still remains one of my favourite FPS of all time... those were the days :)

First FPS in a console: Alien Trilogy for the PSX... great game also, i would love a remake of it...

But out of all of those, I was most enthralled with Quake.

Turok for N64.

That game was so awesome- My grandma bought it for me and luckily didn't know anything about the ESRB ratings.

as a 6 year old I remember it being the COOLEST THING EVAR.

first multiplayer fps goldeneye no doubt that was the first for consoles, never played pc games until the 2000s when i got into it

i just picked up a whole lot of pc games off a garage sale today infact , ,

to go along with my whole nfs collection which is now complete i have nfs 1-hot pursuit 2 on pc now, ,

and the half life collection ,gta 3 and san andreas

nascar heat and legends

flight simulator 98 etc , but ya , that is the first fps i played -doom /goldeneye first online-pd0
