What is PUBG's narrative undertone - Lets Discuss

Hi All,

I haven't posted a discussion topic in many ages and this one keeps coming back to me to write about: Does PUBG have an official narrative/story?

I recently read that the creator apparently has some backstory regarding the overall situation etc. but I was wondering: if it hasn't officially been stated what that narrative is... LETS MAKE ONE!

Lets get creative and as meticulous as possible. No answer is a wrong answer. It could be a logline, short bio, whatever. Forget about talking about the game as if it had single player experience (like a campaign), I want to know whats the story all about regarding 100 people being drop on an island with the promise of a chicken dinner prize for the last one standing.

I hope alot of you engage in this as, I don't know, its just a creative curiosity I would be well up for discussing about.

In a future not far from now, Robots have taken over. AI is in full control and they have developed emotions and the ability to enjoy the suffering of lesser beings. We are those lesser creatures that they rule over. We are used for their own entertainment. Battlegrounds is just one of many Shows they like to watch on a daily basis. Those picked for the Battlegrounds are usually destined for death and the survivor gets a chicken dinner so as they can be nourished for the next show. Its all fun and games in the Robots Utopia.

Hi, your story is similar to the movie "The Maze Runner" :)

It is a pity that my PC does not pull this game. :(
