What is the most beautiful music you have ever heard in a game?

I'm not asking about the most epic music or anything, but the most beautiful muaic you've heard in a game - perhaps music that made you cry - Im asking this after just wathing the movie "where the wild things are" which has such a beautiful soundtrack

Aeris's theme maybe? I don't know I pay more attention to the epic stuff to be honest but the FF series in general has some beautiful music, oh yeah add Celes theme.

ide say a exact tie between FFXIII and FFX. since they were by the same composer and were sorta similar at times i count them as one. not to mention when i re-hear these songs i think back to the amazing parts of the game they appeared in.

and i dont know if it counts but if clannad had the same music as the anime then defently tht cause clannads music was just amazing

I would say a tie between FF games and the Halo games. THey add some much to the games.

I haven't played much of Final Fantasy XIII, but I can agree with you about Final Fantasy X. "The People of The Far North" is a beautiful track. It is one that is unforgettable.

Persephone from Sacrifice is up there.

Anything from Uncharted 2, or FF 10-13.

Probably something out of a Final Fantasy game. Other than that there aren't any other games that jump out at me as having beautiful soundtracks

Hepatica (KOS-MOS). The culmination of everything that was happening at the time, along with it being the end of the last game, after over a hundred hours with these characters, and this music playing made for pretty much the most depressing boss fight I've ever played. I had no motivation to fight, and the characters' pleads for the other character to not fight and die unnecessarily didn't help. This piece alone pretty much set the tone for the entire series for me.

off the top of my head id have to say music from games like prince of persia, uncharted series, halo and dragon age, im sure there is more but that all i can think of right now

Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. Every track for that game was incredible.

The Soul Reaver Main Theme was pretty cool, too.

Shenmue is full of beautiful music... The Place Where The Sun Sets. As does the Zelda series, in particular... Wind Waker Theme.
