PC here. I enjoy games in general, but my platform of choice is the one where I am most comfortable and that is PC. Controls suit me better, and I consider myself a game collector and enthusiast so PC is the only logical choice; it caters not just to casuals and moderates, but to the hardcore and more serious. In the long run PC has saved me a lot of money, too.
I have Steam Link (amazing!) and a controller (good, I guess), but it just ruins the immersion for me because instead of devoting all my attention to the game, a good chunk of my brain is trying to relearn how to use controllers. Not sure if it is worth the investment; sitting on my couch and playing Transistor or Ori and The Blind Forest or any number of really cool, controller-friendly games is awesome, but not sure if learning how to use a controller is worthwhile.
There are only a handful of times per year I wish I had a console, and if I did, it'd probably be a PS4, especially since MS announced that almost all (?) games they publish will be released on PC and console, i.e. no reason to own an Xbox.
Growing up I'd argue my time was split between gaming on my PC at home, and gaming with friends on console at their houses. I know local multiplayer still exists, but somewhere in the recent past all that seemed to stop and people rarely seem to pack their asses in couches too small for four people and talk shit and game and drink beer. That was a big big big positive to console gaming and I think they need to reinforce that in the future, might just convince me to get a console.
TL;DR: I enjoy all platforms to game on, but ultimately consoles are a distant, distant, distant alternative to PC gaming for me.
