What is your favorite Cult classic for SNES?

When I say cult classic, I mean really awesome games that were never really popular and how you heard about them was from the select few people who heard about them.

My favorite Is EARTHBOUND.

Now you Earthbound haters are probably going to say, "Thats not a cult classic, just a crappy game, thats why no one has heard of it." And you're wrong. Would you believe me if I told you, along with EarthBound, Final Fantasy VI (known as III in america) didn't sell well in america? It's true. And that game we all know for sure is awesome. The reason for these games and many other RPGs not selling well is because before Final Fantasy VII was realised in America, America didn't really like RPGs, they weren't very popular among American gamers. I guess FFVII was just enough to get everyone to start likeing RPgs.

Earthbound was a critically acclaimed game. Secret of Mana was hyped up and initially sold with a free tshirt. I remember Zombies Ate My Neighbor getting full page ad space in EGM--it was a big release.

Off the top of my head I'm going to say D-Force.

That game reminded me to mention Out of This World. Both of those games were fantastic. I liked how there was a real strategy in the firefights of Out of This World. The use of the shield was great.

Definitely Super Star Wars!

Earthbound has the best coffee break in any video game I have ever played.
