Yeah, OPM was great. I was really disappointed when they stopped printing it. As for my current favorite, I like OXM (Official Xbox Magazine.) I've always prefered having magazines dedicated to one console in order to get better coverage. The playable demos included are big plus.
It used to be Electronic Gaming Monthly because I was signed up at GameCrazy. But now I'm with Gamestop, so its Gameinformer. I just like their reviews a lot because I agree with most of them.
I have a subscription to Official Playstation Magazine UK and PC Gamer. Both great mags, tho i slightly prefer PC gamer just because they're funny as well as informative heh.
My favourite games mag was actually called something like N64 Extreme - it was an unofficial nintendo magazine and I think it went under. Its the first time I've read a magazine from almost cover to cover. Rather than the normal professional journalism, it was written by what seemed to be a group of mates. It was still informative, and the reviews were still well written, but they seemed to be having alot of fun with what they did.
The mag was full of jokes and micky taking. Also, rather than one reviewer for a game - they all gave a second opinion. So you'd have say the main two page reviewer, than all the other writers would have their own mini review saying if they agreed or not - it game you a better overall picture.
