What is your favorite Genre(s)?

I used to like JRPGs the best, but now all I play is FPS, RTS, and some Adventure games.

But the one genre that I've always liked was fighting. Over the years, my taste for certain genres change, but fighting was something I always liked consistently. Also, it doesn't count as a genre but the Zelda games have always been my favorite. Than again, Nintendo should be in their own category above all others.

I don't know which one I prefer between these two:

- GBT, mostly TBS, but not necessarily

- RPG with a strong emphasis on progression, with a clear and distinct way to see what is done, what remain to be done (level/gears work marvelously for me). MMO if possible is a big +, but not an obligation.

I also enjoy hybrid of the 2, but...I usually don't even realize it is an hybrid and class it on 1 side...or the other. But this is normal, when you really like 2 aspects, to confuse them and not recognize them from each other without focusing.

Arcade, Action, Racing may be fun/tolerated, but reflexes/coordination can't be that important or central if I am to seriously play and enjoy the game. Most of the time they are hybrid in a game I enjoy, and I do recognize them.

Not biased or anything but i hate RPG's, i understand the whole i can pick the power i want before i attack but i seriously hate turn based games. is it my turn yet? see, i'm a socom/halo guy, i see'm ima kill'm. no questions, no waiting, your slow? thats your fault, shoot!!!

My main favorate genre is RPG's... though i do have a liking to shooters and adventure games

I Like games from almost all genres which doesn't feel childish or funny.......In otherwords....Whatever genre I'm playing.....I prefer to play only hardcore Games.............

1. First Person Shooter ( Half-Life 2, Call Of Duty 4, Crysis )

2. Action/Adventure/Stealth ( GTA, Splinter Cell, Tomb Raider, Assasin's Creed )

3. Real-Time Strategy ( Age Of Empires, World In Conflict )

Has to be Action Adventure, although I do like RPG and FPS as well.

Not such a big fan of the sports genre. Too repetitive.

I like all genres but am partial to action/adventure and RPGs, especially anything that combines all of that into one :D

1. MRPGs (Not MMOs) Massive RPGs like tes4 oblivion but there are few of this type of game that have the ginormous world like oblivion

2.FPS like bioshock, halo, Doom
