burnout 3 is one of the the best games for the ps2 games but my all-time favorite games would have to be god of war

(mild surprise) I'm the first person to mention Devil May Cry 3 ?

I thought it kicked so much ass that it's incredible.

I also adored Atelier Iris (but was rather less keen on the two sequels) , loved Star ocean 3 (Till the end of time) , think Okami and ICO are awe-inspiring, am amused by Freak Out, loved Destroy All Humans, adore Parappa the Rapper, think Disgaea 1 & 2 are great, really had fun with Kingdom Hearts, and massively enjoyed Arc: Twilight of the Spirits (heavily reccommended to all lovers of the Shining Force games, in particular) , Klonoa 2 always gets a smile out of me, and Astroboy is fun (but oh so short !)

I've played so many truckloads of games that it's a bit hard to pick out favourites !

The DMC series, while not being RPGs, are all PS2 games.

:D I will forgive you though, since this forum has such an amazing RPG flavour that it can sometimes be easy to forget that the forum is a legacy gaming forum rather than an RPG forum.

Although also, maybe some people would consider DMC to be an RPG series within a looser definition than the classic one, with more western influence etcetera.... since in many ways it feels more like an RPG than many action RPGs do (for example, the Ys games or dungeon crawlers) and it takes so many elements from the RPG genre.

best fps- timesplitters 1 2 and 3 those are the only decent ones rotflol

best racing gt 4

best platforming - spyro /crash

best fighting-meh ,, doesnt have ssb

best action adventure etc- disaster report

best of all ps2

timesplitters 1 2 and 3 take a sweep with that ive said so many times nothing beats timesplitters 2 or 3s map maker ,, oh one thing though the xbox version would give ps2s version a run for its money unless you got a ps3 lol hard drive should have been utilized on ps2 them idiots ,, i could have had unlimited space in the first place to make hundreds of maps in no time
