please list which if other. I know this pole isn't big enough, I'd like to put more in there but I tried to put the most classic in the poll.

A Snes/genesis option would be nice, can't decide between the two :P

That would have to be the Dreamcast, although I do like the PS2 more, but I don't consider it retro considering it is still in production.

The super nintendo remains the king. I personaly dont think PS should be on that list, but thats just me. SNES and PS both have an AWESOME library of games.

SNES hands down. Personally I still don't even consider PS1 to be "retro" just yet.

Has to be the Sega Mega Drive, which is the true name of the genesis.

Well it's retro but still very relevant today thanks to PS3's BC so it feels like not retro but trust me it has been 16 years since it's release and it is very much a retro system. PS2 on the other hand I don't consider a legacy system since it's still manufactured and sold plus with new game releases every now and then.

I love my NES. It was never a big deal here, being overshadowed by the SMS and MD, so it's actually a bit of an oddball thing to collect where I live. Expensive, too. But it was the first console I ever owned.

I think we can call PS1 retro now. It did come out over 15 years ago (!) which is long enough to be classed as retro in my book.

The N64. Best local multiplayer of any console to date, and great single player experiences as well.

007: Goldeneye and Quake were great to play multiplayer back in the day, no doubt. But best multiplayer console to date? Come on. The N64 has got nothing on the XBox in that department. -Nate-

rock and roll racing

stuntrace fx

super mario kart -this would probably be your only exception

top gear

top gear 2/300

mortal kombat -1-3 mortal kombat started being lame in the n64 era after 4 , ,

the lionking

toy story

tom and jerry

super mario world /1-3 -do not include wii ,, even though that does , , thats a current console not legacy but once wii 2 comes ill gladly welcome it , right behind my n64 and snes and ps1 and nes

n64

My first thought is "if by xbox he means 360 I understand." Then I think again about the constant Halo tournaments and what happend in my barrack before when I had picked up Halo at first, when I woke up there were people playing my xbox, when I came back from work there were people playing my xbox and when I went to sleep there were people playing my xbox. So I guess an argument could be made for either of the 2 but then again it makes me think "why not newer nintendo consoles?" Personally my best multi player experience is probably from the GC with tons of smash bros and even phantasy star online locally.

I can't believe that you didn't include the best ever gaming system of all time in your poll, DREAMCAST! What's up with that? :p
