My biggest game across all platforms in terms of size is Halo 5 at a hefty 97 gigs!
Definitely Doom 2016, which is sitting in my HDD at 76.7 GB after the latest update. Holy friggin' Hell it was a pain to download on my slow-as connection. Worth it, though.
Well I thought it was Quantum Break but someone said DOOM was ~77GB?! Holy hell, man, that's huge...I don't get it the game doesn't really have that much content, does it?
@boycie: How big is the file size now?
mine is 80.3 GB right now. That's without mods...
@mrbojangles25:
Textures are very big, especially as these days a single face of geometry will have about half a dozen different layers of textures mapped over it. Add high resolution, and you can get huge file sizes very quickly. Sound assets can also be very big, especially if not compressed properly.
Also, Doom's free updates added a lot of Snapmap assets.

oh right the map editor, and yeah I forgot about textures too. Most games these days don't seem to emphasize textures, but when they do!
Doom for me too. I was just gonna see today if I could get rid of some of that add on shit as I don't play multiplayer or snapmap and I still have the shitty 500gb hard drive. I'm constantly deleting games. Good that the save files are seperate but sucks waiting when I get in the mood to play Street Fighter or Phantom Pain again.
I think mine is DOOM which, with its updates, has come up to 78.5 GB... Spent a fair old while downloading that, the legions of hell sure do eat up the disk space :p
For me, it's gear of war 4 with all the stuff included. It was 101 gb. Microsoft is making an update to it which will make it 250gb.
X-Plane 9's full install is 78 GB. It's not the biggest now. But, back in 2008, it was humongous. ;) It still is my biggest install.
