For me it will probably to purchase a dreamcast again. It left a whole in my heart when I originally sold it!

I really want a Tera Drive, for collectivity purposes only, of course. However, right now I'm focusing monstly on building up my Japanese PC game collectrion.
I haven't decided yet. Atari XEGS? Vectrex? Steel Battalion control set up and games? Commodore 64? PC Engine Duo? The new Atari 7800 expansion module being created by Legacy Engineering? Atari Jaguar CD? Atari 5200 Track Ball? All of those and more are being considered. But I can't buy anything big for awhile, because I just bought a new Panasonic 42" 1080p Plasma.savebatterydon't you already have enough games:P.. and i'd get the atari XEGS..
and i plan on getting a neo geo pocket color in a few weeks..
A boxed SNES. I've been puttin' it off for awhile, got a boxed Sega Master System last time instead =D

Vectrex...man that was a really interesting gaming experience. I never owned one, but a collector friend of mine had one and it was just crazy haha.
I've thought about using my dreamcast--which I just got back after an extended "missing" period--as an arcade of sorts. I have an older dlp projector that I like using for the lower resolution consoles and wanted to set it up in a fashion where I could have two dreamcast fight sticks in standing positions--with the screen being about five feet.
So I guess as far as purchases: I need two fight sticks, a vga cable, and all the classic DC fighters. (oh wait crap, powerstone has four players, doesn't it.)
I will continue to get games and accessories for both the Nintendo 64 and the Sega Genesis. A week ago, I remembered seeing a Virtual Boy with three games being sold for around $120. It is for sale at at vintage game and media shop. I might get it if it is still there. It comes with Wario Land, Mario Clash and Mario Tennis.

Wow, 7 years ago I picked one up, with 3 games, for $20. I remember when the system was initially being phased out, Toys R Us was selling them brand spankin new for $19.99. Yeah, I should have picked some of those up.

Geez, I wish they were that cheap now.
Hopefully, with my Dreamcast purchase I can pick up Skies of Arcadia with it as well.
One thing I really like about vintage game collecting is that it is truly a hobby. It's not just heading toBest Buy and picking up a $60 game. It just amazes me what I can buy with $60 when I am looking to increase parts of my collection!
Probably a genesis .... or snes/nes the genesis has my favorite game of all time on it so probably that. (The Punisher)
I think that's next for me too, along with Twisted Metal 2. I did own both at one-point and traded them in way back when Gamestop was still a great store and was known as FuncoLand.Probably picking up a Metal Gear Solid 1 copy for my PS1.

its tough to decide, maybe an SNES or a Dreamcast, or a 3DO. Not sure yet.

I agree. And if not SNES, then Dreamcast. 3DO shouldn't even be a factor in that decision-making process. 3DO is a great system for a collector, and is probably one of the better "lesser" systems. But SNES has a large library of games, great exclusives, and are common to find. And Dreamcast has the same thing going for it, while not as many games, it has plenty of very unique and fun games, and are common to find. 3DO is rare, expensive, and it's library while not bad it's not nearly as good as SNES or Dreamcast's either.I will continue to get games and accessories for both the Nintendo 64 and the Sega Genesis. Basically the 3 best games on Virtual Boy. PM me if you have any questions. I'm a Virtual Boy fanatic.

It's really hard I hear to find a working Jaguar CD. Angry Video Game Nerd James Rolfe still can't find a working one, lol.
I'm currently replaying Metroid Fusion. As a result, I'm considering getting a Gamecube with a Gameboy Advance player attachment. If I can find one at a reasonable price (or at all), that is.
I really wish I didn't get rid of my Gamecube when I got the Wii. :(
