As far as 5 systems I don't like, or I like the least, well I can't really list any I've actually hated, as there's a reason I bought each one I have.
Any console where installing the games or patching them is a thing, completely defeats the point.
Regardless of Microsoft doing a 180 on their DRM conditions, don't forget that they TRIED.
And the Amstrad was just basically a CPC6128 without a keyboard; also pointless.

I think you have the wrong idea of current gen gaming, not all games need to be installed on the console, some do partially, some don't require it at all. And believe me, I'm all for the pratical way consoles were from the 6th gen back, but you're missing out on LOTS of great experiences by neglecting the PS3 and 360 for something as simple as a 2-5 minute partial installation or a couple second patch. I do see your point, but I think you should give current gen a better chance. And I'm with Stinger, first those consoles aren't even Legacy, two the One and the PS4 weren't even released yet, y'all are just being short sighted by listing them right off the bat. Anyway, all I can think of that I'd consider actually bad would be the Hyperscan.

Virtual Boy - It's been labeled as a "portable", but let's be serious here, it's not like you can pull out your Virtual Boy in a car or in a crowded waiting room. It's a console. And it's a terrible one, at that. If a console gives you headache after playing, and give you tracers in your vision for several minutes afterwards, it's a failure. Not to mention it's miniscule game library.
Phillips CD-i - We had one of these in our science class in school. We often played "edutainment" games that involved science and some mystery you had to solve. But I also got to have a taste of the some of the terrible FMV games, and played one of the cringe-worthy Zelda games on it. So freaking bad. You can tell this console was made by a bunch of guys in suits that just didn't get gaming.
Intellivision - It may have had better graphics than than the Atari 2600, but that terrible contraption they called a controller killed any potential it had.
Atari 2600 - I know, many gamers are gonna call blasphemy on me since this is the console that really launched the modern-day console industry and many, many genres of games were created on it. But I just find a good majority of it's game library to be too simplistic. And the sound on it is just cringe-worthy bad. Some of the sounds that come out that machine are ungodly. Plus I'm not a big fan of joysticks, especially Atari 2600's stiff-as-a-board joystick.
Nintendo 64 - It's not actually a terrible console. It's just my least liked Nintendo console (other than the Virtual Boy). And most of that is due to it's terrible, awkwardly shaped controller with the worst thumbstick ever made. It kills the gameplay on so many otherwise great games. And the console was lacking in 2 of my favorite genres: shoot-em ups and RPGs.
1. Phillips cdi 2. Atari Jaguar 3.n64 DD 4. Game boy micro 5. Vitrual boy - the reason I put this in 5th because it could have been good, but it was pushed out the door too early.
I have this feelings some of the people did not actually play some of the systems listed. For the ones I found to be mad to me: 1. Astrocade 2. CD-I, and yes, i played 50 games in the library at least unlike other people hating on it. it's that bad. 3. Ganecube, just not into it, the games don't seem well to be wither. 4. Wii, same as gamecube, but a few more gems. 5.Neo-Geo CD. Very slow for most games, sometimes for no reason. Gamepad is unresponsive. For an arcade game machine that is an automatic 0.

These are my picks since I passed up on owning them. The Virtual Boy is my worst since I kinda like Nintendo a whole lot. But this Console? or Handheld? is something I could have bought for $15.00 with 5 games but I passed on this deal. Even which the offical carry case thrown in. And a extra controller? Which is not needed as this is 1 played only Videogame "portable"
I like the Virtual Boy. I think people that don't like it haven't played enough games. I'm just going to name one console at the moment. This console is the Game Gear. My reason is that while the system had some decent games, the console itself was lacking. It sucked batteries down like crazy, had lackluster dpad and buttons, and the screen was not only washed out but blurry more than it should have been.

It had a lot of awesome titles, both first and third party, and I felt like many games, especially a lot of third party games gave you options to whether you wanted to use the motion controls or not.

Very few people pay attention to the Gem on the console like Madworld(imo), No More Heroes, and The Last Story. I would wait until the next generation starts. People wills tart going back through the 7th generation libraries and people may change their minds.

My thoughts as well. Im guessing in probably 2 to 4 years certain Wii games will start spiking in value as collectors and people who missed certain titles go back and see that there was actually a lot more to enjoy than they previously thought.

Just wondering what you use to decide how good a console is. Because in the Jaguar's case, it's a bad console in nearly every way I decide how to rate a console:
Bad controller
Unreliable Hardware (prone to breakdown)
Small library of games
I will give credit where credit is due, though. Despite the small library of games, it did have a few gems in games like Wolfenstein 3-D, Alien vs. Predator, Rayman, and Tempest 2000.
