Im just curious to know why the people that only own a particular system (like me) chose their console. I chose xbox 360 because i like the exclusives it has and id finished most good wii games elsewhere.

What about you?

Bought the Wii for SSBB, was very dissapointed with it. After being a Nintendo fanboy my whole life, I felt way too "betrayed" by the Wii, so I did some research on the PS3 and 360. The 360 seemed more appealing, and most of my friends all had 360s so I bought it and I'm satisfied with it.

well, I had always enjoyed games for the playstation and playstation 2 consoles, so I wanted a PS3 to enjoy more great playstation content. Also, I never really liked many of the games for Xbox 360. Even now there are only a couple i want to play.

For a while I had both a 360 and a PS3, but got rid of both of them. Now I just have a PS3 since I am more interested in the exclusives it offers. Most games offered on the 360 are available on PC anyways, so I might as well use that for those games instead of getting a new 360. The Wii would be nice to have sometimes, but it's not really worth the price.

PS3 for exclusives

PC for all the other games

Well yeah. Not all 360 games are available for the PC (Halo 3 and Gears of War 2 etc), but many of them are. Sometimes it is nice to have a gamepad when playing, and that is when I use a 360 controller for the PC.

I chose the 360 because I really admired its emphasis on multiplayer and community. Also, the exclusives just feel solid and the amount of co-op games are endless fun.

I chose to buy a 360 due to my history of enjoyment with the original Xbox, the online interface within different games and the community. So far, I have rather enjoyed the exclusives to 360, and usually play games that most people don't. Very rarely do I buy a game I know I will trade in in a couple of months. The PS3 never appealed to me, and other than MGS4, I was never to hot on their exclusives either.

However, I just actually played with the PS3 for the first time ever today at my cousin's house. Due to my lack of knowledge on the system, and holding the controller having 0 expectations, I was extremely impressed. I've heard many times that the PS3's online interface/community was not up to par, and honestly I never really cared. I just enjoyed my 360. Well I post today to tell you that I respectfully disagree with that statement.

I thought that the online PS3 interface was fantastic. Does it match up to the 360? IMO, no it doesn't, but it's sure as hell better than what I've heard some describe it as. I actually had intentions on buying a PS3, prior to playing one at my cousin's house for the first time, the day before. Only two days ago had I actually looked into what Demon's Souls actually was; and after I had watched gameplay, read on the specifics, etc...That game screams for me. Playing the PS3 for the first time the day after I had planned on buying one just for Demon's Souls the day before has only reaffirmed my conviction in buying a PS3.

So there's the reasons as to why I bought a 360, and why I'm going to buy a PS3.

I got a 360 because of halo, and because it was cheaper at the time. The only about the 360 is that they always break down, 3 times in 2 years for me, and my ps2 never broke in six years.....

I've never really liked the Xbox consoles, if find the controllers uncomfortable to hold and none of the games really interested me. The Wii I thought was more of a play with friends kind of console and while I think the Motion controls are great ideas I couldn't see myself standing there and waving my arms around inorder to play a game. I choose the PS3 because I've had a PS1 and PS2 in the past, I like the feel of the controls and I was certain that it'd get close to the same game base as the PS1 and Ps2 which is quite substansial. I haven't regretted my choice to this day.

PS3 mostly because of the controller. I just never really like the Xbox controllers :| Also I have a history with the Playstation, and I just love the system. Xbox has great games but I like the games on the PS3 better, and I love the Playstation franchises like FF, GT etc.

Besides that I have a bluray player now and I don't have to pay anything for the online aspect. And last but not least I like the Slim's design better.

Xbox 360, It was the newest console at the time (2005) so I decided to buy it, cause i did not buy PS2 or Xbox.

Playstation 3, in 2006 I quite sad my 360 got RROD, So decided to buy it after months due to it's release, cause everybody want's it.

I got my 20G PS3, quite happy with it and continue to use it to this day.

I just recently got I new Xbox 360 due to the fact of the price drop. $299. :)

I got the Playstation 3 because Xbox is officially dead to me. Too many RROD's, and I don't regret switching.

I picked PC because it offered me the ability to use a mouse and keyboard on any game I wished or use a gamepad on most games if I wished. There was also the betetr visuals and free online. I made PS3 my console choice because it offered me more games I wished to play over the 360 and the Wii as well it had free online.
