The main focus on the MGS games are the story, not just the gameplay. Get the essentials collections like other people mentioned, and play MGS1,MGS2, and MGS3.
Get the Essentials Pack... you need to start with MGS1 and play in sequential order, otherwise most of the impact of 3 will be lost on you.Funkyhamster
Agreed this is the best possible decision you can make. . . i have all the originals and the substances. . . and yet i still went out to buy the essential pack :P
play it in the original order. mgs1 then mgs2 then mgs3. that way, you will see the improvements on graphix and gameplay. if you start with mgs3, the previous games would look and feel ugly coz you have played a polished and improved game already.
