I was under the impression that the PS2 uses hardware emulation to play PS1 games, therefore they all should work.
Tomba, Final Fantasy Anthology, Mortal Kombat Triligy and 2 others run with serious glitches on the PS2
I've also heard the game Chrono Cross has some problems? I doubt anyone can confirm it though, since so few have that game...
I seemed to have problems with The Legend of Dragoon. It would occassionally freeze between screens (when the screen goes black).
