Mass Effect, getting a paragon and renegade save ready for when Mass Effect 2 comes out in the UK. Also play Champions Online because it's goodies.
I'm not sure if I would qualify borderlands as an RPG, it barely qualifies as one if it does. More a shooter with randomized guns and limited, minor alterations to your characters performance.Dragon Age Origins and Borderlands.

Morrowind. I'm amazed at the scale of it, how'd they manage to make a game this big and why can't Oblivion have been this size!?

Wasnt Morrowind realy tiny? Like with the mod that gives you longer view distance you can see from town to town.
Maybe you mean Daggerfall?
Borderlands, which I consider a RPG. The combat is just replaced with first person shooting.paradigm68I support this statement. And I just finished it. I.E. all trophies for main game and Dr. Neds expansion. As far as a more traditional RPG, I'm playing Mana Khemia 2, which is pretty decent, except I constantly get errors with saving and loading and data corruption. Something its predecessor never did to me.
I've been sort of jumping back and forth lately, so I've got a couple. XP
Tales of the Abyss (Loving it, reminds me a lot of Vesperia.)
Dragon Age: Origins (2nd playthrough, semi-evil character. The memory leaks are starting to annoy me though.)
Baldur's Gate 2 Shadows of Amn: (Nostalgia reasons. DA:O forced me to reinstall it.)
Persona 4 (I really like the game, but not being able to do EVERYTHING in one day makes my OCD tweak out a bit lol!)
Borderlands (No better way to let out some frustration than running over a pack of skags.)
And... I think that's it. O.oBoy, that list seems a lot longer once it's been itemized.
:P
Edit: Whoops! I almost forgot, I'll be playing Mass Effect next week.
I have to wait for it to be shipped out since it's been IMPOSSIBLE to find it at any of the stores around where I live.
ME2's launch is going to be epic.
[QUOTE="cropcircles"]sorry but borderlands is not an rpg.Sacif
Incorrect
it is not an rpg, it's a fps with very little rpg elements.[QUOTE="Sacif"][QUOTE="cropcircles"]sorry but borderlands is not an rpg.cropcircles

it is not an rpg, it's a fps with very little rpg elements. There is a level system, experience points, differing grades of weapons, upgrades, quests, quest rewards a progressive story with an ultimate goal, bosses that will destory you if you have not attained a high enough level...pretty sure this is an RPG more than an action game.
Action games have the story and upgrades but not a level-up system. Take Zelda, you can upgrade your health (some consider theves levels but they aren't really) you can upgrade your weapons somewhat etc.
When experience, leveling, and having to judge upgrades thats when a game falls into the realm of more RPG than action.
*edit* what viewpoint you are playing a game from does not matter really. Its a FPS RPG */edit*
I'm currently playing through Mass Effect for one last time before Mass Effect 2 comes out. I'm also playing Dragon Age: Origins and recently started playing KOTOR (I'm late to the party :P) but I don't think I'll be able to finish it any time soon with Mass Effect 2 coming and Dragon Age to complete. And I still have to try Jade Empire which I bought about a month ago but never played, damn you Bioware for making so many long games

I think Morrowind was actually bigger than Oblivion in terms of landmass. Or even if it wasn't, it felt huge because every area was full of unique dungeons and hidden paths and treasures.
