What series of games the best?

Of the ones I see, I like the BioShock games the most.

Half-Life.

Out of those? Easily Metal Gear Solid.

All are good games (haven't played Chrome though), but from the listed, probably Half-Life and Wolfenstein

My favorite game series is Zelda. It should be on that list.

You can't cross compare games or series in different genres.... Thats just wrong... :(

@Lulu_Lulu: I'm fairly certain these games have at least a few things in common. In that regard, they're all shooters, whether stealth, third- or first-person, etc. The only one I see that wouldn't belong is GTA since it combines a cluster if game genres into one.

LoZ, MGS and ME (not inc ME3..) are probably my top 3 series.

The Legend of Zelda as I have not played a bad title to its name. The cdi ones don't count because they are simply called Zelda.

from that list I like GTA the most.

It's a toss-up between Halo and Gears of War for me.

Grand Theft Auto is my first pick but Battlefield 4 is a close second

Metal Gear all day erry day.

I dislike all of these except Metal Gear Solid.

I like GTA, BioShock, a select few Call of Duty games, and Splinter Cell. Every other game I either haven't played (Battlefield) or don't care for at all (Metal Gear Solid)

All those franchises have had great game(s) and the answers from everyone will based on personal preference and history. But in my eyes, I really like Metal Gear.
