Im trying to decide if I should get either a PS3 or Xbox 360. Halo 3 And MGS 4 are both looking great to me, but i relize that ill have to give one of them up in order to decide whuch system to get. What id like is some advice from nonfanboys on which to get. And dont start any so and so sucks so and so rules crap.
Other than that, the only person that is fully capable of deciding which platform they should buy is you. Do your research and come to a conclusion based on the plaform that provides the most games that you will enjoy.
Questions inviting comparisons between consoles should go in System Wars, as they tend to generate flame wars like nobody's business. Or, if you just want a comparison between Halo 3 and MGS4, that should go in this sticky thread.
Oh, and don't bother requesting that no fanboys answer your question. That never works. Just ignore anyone attempting to disrupt discussion, and report those who are doing so in ways that violate the terms of use. :)
