I'm thinking of getting a new system i have a ps2, what system do you recommend me get ps3 or xbox 360 and why. And what games do you recommend me get for that system. I'm into shooting games.
get a 360. There are hundreds more games on the 360 than ps3. I have all three systems at home and by far enjoy the 360 the most. There are so many good shooters out there on the 360, like:
1. the orange box - if you don't like half-life, check your pulse!
Get an Xbox 360. It is the best value for your money, it has the best controls, and it has an amazing library of games. All you need to do is buy a 360 with the following games and you will be gaming for the rest of your life: Halo 3, Gears of War, Tom Clancy's Rainbow 6 Vegas 1 & 2, Crackdown, Assassin's Creed, NHL 08, and many other games that would take too long for me to list. The 360 is easily the best console of this generation.
I have both. I'd get a PS3 for 3 reasons: The 360 does have a fairly high fail rate, mine 5 times, I know that's not the norm but... Also the PSN is free. I think the developers are just starting to get into the full power of the PS3, and more great games will be coming out on it soon. That said, you can't really go wrong with the 360 aside from those issues, I buy games for both pretty much evenly.
Both are really good. PS3 has free online and Xbox 360 has a high fail rate like stated above, but Xbox 360 has a bigger community. It's really up to you. If you want more of a multimedia center (Blu-ray, Internet, and Games) then get PS3. If you want just games, get Xbox 360.
get a 360. It was made for shooters. I have both, and I play the 360 much more because of the shooters and sports games. theirs Halo 3, Call of Duty 4, Bioshock, and Battlefield: Bad Company to name a few,
