What system should I collect games for?

Over the last few months or a year I have always been in the middle of what system i should start collecting games for so in 10 or so years time I can look back at what I hope is somewhat of a large collection, I just cant decide which one, Its either the Wii or the PS3, I dont have an xbox 360, but I simply cant decide, on one hand with the nintendo systems.

I have alot of nostalgia, some of my best times in gaming were experienced on the N64 so its hard to move away from nintendo, I also enjoy the first party wii games very much sad thing is we havent got any since Brawl came out, but on the other hand I have the PS3, my faveourite game of all time is on the system or the series to be acurate "Gran turismo", during the 5th gen, at the start I was mainly supporting the N64 I could not wait to get one as a kid, then I ended up after the N64 getting a Ps1 which took over my gaming time and from that day on I was a sony fan.

Until in 2005 I bought myself a gamecube and I was shocked at what I had missed, Super mario sunshine, melee, luigis mansion mario kart and I started getting back into the nintendo path, not to mention the playstation still played a big part it is still my faveourite system of all time, I eneded up getting a wii at the 06 launch and a ps3 7 months after the PAL launch xmas 07. Since then I have always leaned more towards the nintendo plainly on the fact that playing games like Super mario galaxy gave me some of the greatest memories and today I cant go back to playing Ps1 games but I can and still love playing N64 games, but on the other hand some of my faveourite series are on the PS3 I just dont know which console to support, I simply dont have enough money to collect for both, sure I will still buy the good games on both consoles as they come, but which one should I start collecting for eg, games that i havent played etc.

You should just collect the games you like the most, regardless of the system they are on. I don't see the point of collecting a bunch of games for the Wii if you only like a specific 5 or something. I'm just inclined to get the best game available and I usually judge this off reviews/opinions on here, then I only end up with the cream of the crop :)

Wall text kills! I didnt read the whole thing but go for the ps3. Sure it doesnt have many exclusives but hell i think its got more fun games then the Wii. By the way, if you ever think about buying a game called Dark Sector, honestly you really shouldnt that game is terrible, heres what its like, duck and cover, throw glaive thing or w/e its called. They should really rename it to Dark Sphincter, because that game is a pile of crap. The first game(s) you should start getting are, Uncharted, LBP, wait for infamous. Try and aim for ps3s exclusives, then go for the multiplatform ones. Good Luck!

off course the ps3. wii only comes out with gems 2x a year....plus ps3 has more quality titles, free online and get a lot of different genres

collect whatever games take your fancy if their multiplats then their probably gonna be better on ps3 like cod 5 for instance

You should be collecting games that you will actually want to play, not just collect them for the sake of collecting. Just get whatever games tickle your fancy, whther they are on the Wii or PS3.
