You watch how many people mention Halo. Just watch.
Oh, and I'll add to that list. Halo: Combat Evolved
Notice, though, how all of the more highly acclaimed XBOX games are all exclusives? No single game plays better on the XBOX than on PS2. They play around the same or around 5% worse.
That's completely wrong. XBox has better hardware, so MOST multiplatform games played better on XBox due to better graphics. And the multi-player games were better on XBox because of the 4-controller ports built-in, and because of XBox Live when that got running.Notice, though, how all of the more highly acclaimed XBOX games are all exclusives? No, Xbox had by far the best multiplat games of last gen. By far better graphics then the PS2 version (perfect example is Battlefront, which looks considerably worse then the Xbox version) an updated controller, where PS2 used an outdated one, a hard drive, so no running out of memory for saves, PS2 only came with 2 standard controller ports, and xbox live. PS2 was probably a better system, but there hasn't been a generation where there was a bigger gap between multiplat games then between PS2 and XBox (GC and Xbox wasn't as big, but there weren't as many GC multiplats)
Well, I'm going to cheat, as I have two favorites that I can't choose between :
1-A) The Elder Scrolls III : Morrowind (GOTY Edition)
1-B) Grand Theft Auto : San Andreas

Well, with all due respect, the PS2/XBOX multiplats that I've played somewhat direct my point of view.
For me personally, there's no point in playing the same game on two different consoles, unless I was looking to buy a new one and testing it out in store. There's probably more, and CoD: Big Red One, I would say plays better on the XBOX, but overall I see the PS2 as a better console.

I've never bought one game on two consoles (except San an, but I lost the game and bought the xbox version instead) but I've played Battlefront, Splinter cell and other multiplats on my friends PS2 and there was a very noticeable difference in graphics. I'm not saying PS2 didn't have better games, but all the multiplats looked and played considerably better then the PS2 counterparts.
Panzer Dragoon Orta.savebattery
Oh, yeah. Also Buffy the vampire slayer (NOT Chaos bleeds), Fable, Jade Empire, Knights of the old republic and, yes, Halo 1 and 2
Deus EX Invisible War is also an incredible game
