I am personally looking at Dark Sector. With it being released around games like Smash bros., R6 vegas 2, and GTA 4 it aint getting the hype it once was.
I don't think Mafia 2 really counts as under the rader due to the lack of information. Once details start coming out it will likely be hyped to hell and back.
Anyway I pick Prototype, not a ton of people talking about it, and it looks like a great blend of The Darkness, Assassin's Creed and Crackdown.
I don't know if you would consider Alan Wake under the radar, but that is one of my top 5 most highly anticipated games. Oh and Chronicles of Riddick: Dark Athena, I'm also extremely excited for this game, as it is basically a remake of my favorite game from last gen.
Alan wake is definitely not under the radar. Its a pretty big game, on most peoples top 5 (mine). I would say Vegas 2 is one. One of my most enjoyed games this gen yet even I forget about it. There were problems with the first keeping it from elite status but number 2 should be one of the top FPS of the year. Lost Via Domus..unfortunaley is another.
Prototype, Alone In The Dark and Alone In The Dark. Apart from the bigger name series like Resident Evil and Silent Hill most survival horror games go quietly under the radar, with only fans of the genre showing any real interest in them. Alone In the Dark's customisation looks cool, but I find Dead Space in particular to be a very interesting concept, having a sci-fi setting and taking ques from movies such as Alien, The Thing and Event Horizon. The way it is supposed to use this environment looks interesting, with numerous mining tools (think Red Dwarf, except without the comedy), weightless sections and some emphasis on dismemberment.

alot of people are mentiong prototype, which i don't see as a underground game, it got alot of exsposer at GDC and it was on a cover of game informer( which is a crappy mag) but non the less many people know about it.
Black sigil blade of the exiled aka project exile. I know this game is way under the radar and it probably will be like that for a bit longer. It probably will not get a lot of coverage and I feel bad about considering it looks like a good game.
