I always wanted Kya: Dark Lineage for the PS2 to get a sequel.
The ending pretty much implied that was the case anyway.
But, unfortunately the company went under.
Other than that I can't think of any others. Maybe Grabbed by the Ghoulies?
Geist on the Gamecube. It was a great concept, FPS where you play a ghost possessing people and objects, but was short, had loose controls, and a choppy frame-rate. A sequel that cleaned up the rough parts would have been fantastic.
Vanquish was so good it ruined all other third person shooters for me. Just tragic we haven't had a sequel.
I really wanted to know how Advent Rising ended. Loved the story and atmosphere.
and while on the subject of Majesco, I felt like Bloodrayne 2 ended in a very interesting spot - vampire apocalypse, the last humans gathering in an underground vault. Would have liked to have seen where things went from there.
Sleeping Dogs man I just can't praise this game enough amazing open world Hong Kong setting, great likeable characters, satisfy fun combat system and a fantastic radio. Not having a fully fledged high budget sequel is one gamings biggest travesties it deserves a sequel. Sleeping Dogs was something special that was miles better then most open world games like Watch Dogs and Saints Row and I like those games. But Sleeping Dogs only had one game and it's quality was higher then anything those series have ever done.
Dragon's Dogma 2 is top of my list. The original is a game that has a well made core, but has too much added fluff and padding resembling dated RPG tropes, which damages the experience.
The expansion was the best part of the game, because it stuck to Dragon Dogma's best aspects and none of its flaws. Imagining a larger scope version of BitterBlack Isles, is something I would gladly pay for.
True Crime 2.(Which activision cancelled it because their rushed and buggy game wasn't successful)
Star Wars The Force Unleashed 2.(Cancelled because of Disney)
Indiana Jones and the emperor's tomb.
Monkey Island 5.
@RSM-HQ: TC meant that which game you want to get a sequel for. And I want a sequel to TFU 2. TFU 3 was cancelled because of Disney.
@dorog1995:
Ah, you wanted part 3.
And unless I'm misunderstanding OP, technically the thread asks what video game do you wish got a sequel but never did.
Maybe some didn't click with that last part, the question is games that are standalone and no sequel what-so-ever. Then again I maybe the one misunderstanding the titles meaning.

Yeah good one... Sleeping Dogs is one of the most underappreciated games of the last couple of generations I reckon.
Half-Life 3 comes to mind. (Though it should be Half-Life 2: Episode 3)
Yeah, I'd be just as happy for an Episode 3 really. Just to wrap up the story and give us some closure!

Valve is like the George RR Martin of videogames. They're both making so much money not making games/writing books right now, you're never gonna see how that story ends. And, no, the TV show does not count as an ending. It's just expensive fan fiction.
Some damn good calls with Vanquish, Sleeping Dogs and Dragon's Dogma. I'd buy sequels to all of those.
I was always kind of disappointed there wasn't a followup to Syndicate. That always felt like a game that didn't do as well as it deserved in sales, because so few people seemed to give it a chance, and that's a shame.
Call me crazy but Shaq Fu.
Why did Delphine Software, the makers of Flashback decide to make fighting game?
Because they had ambition. Maybe a little too much but that game was blasted way beyond what it deserved.
It has a unique fighting system in that the 6 buttons are fast kick/punch, power kick/punch, move and taunt.
The way the game plays is tactically like Virtua Fighter so you can't mash the buttons and the animation is so nice.
A properly funded sequel would give bigger sprites, more frames and such nice artwork.
When you finish the game you see the staff and there are maybe 3 programmers in total and about 40 art staff. So bonkers but I know it will never happen least because Delphine went bust ages ago.
Ever since The Sims 1 Iv bought the XP Then The Sims 2 came out so I bought that,And that was probably the best game Iv ever played so I bought some more XP Like Bon Voyage and Open for business. University . When I got bored I downloaded some hairstyles and in game stuff for free on sims resources . Then The Sims 3 came out on PC so I got that aswell and it wasn't the best out of all the Collection,Even tho the graphics were really good ,I still would go back and play The Sims 2. I have The Sims 4 on PS4 and that was interesting ,The sims 2 on DS wasnt anything like the "Real" Sim game. And I also have The sims 3,Sims 3Pets.
If you like The SIms 2 It will keep you playing for hours on end! Brillant Game for girls :P
Dead Synchronicity.
Is supposed that will have a second part. But the studio is inmersed in the development of Do not feed the monkeys.
Freespace 3. Volition was all set to start making it before the publisher canceled it. May they burn in hell!!
