im not sure if it was also on snes, but it was a western set in the wild west, you go around shooting things and jumping on trains and stuff, it was so fun i just forgot the name of it.

there was a couple I can think of but their name escapes me. Most westerns had trains. What view was played from? That might help narrow down the field.

In Tin Star you goon a train and you shoot things and it was in a western setting.

What type of game was it?

The first thing that immediately came to my mind was Lethal Enforcers II, which is a first-person rail shooter.
