C&C Red Alert, I wasn't that good online and would always get pwned, but it was still fun to know you're playing against someone else in another part of the world.
Now, I'm usually playing BF2
Quake 3 Arena on the Sega goddamn Dreamcast.
I used to play it every night after work for like 2 months straight. It was so fun until they broke the game by allowing mouse and KB play.
I don't remember the name... it was a free mmorpg... I played it for a few hours before quiting.
Edit: it was called Tibia.
Myth: The Fallen Lords
Back in the days when a 56K was considered awesome. Fetch glitching and Dwarf carpet bombing were tricks of the trade. It holds a special place in my memories. If I had a Trow (Dark) is still a great map. Shame there aren't servers anymore.
SRE (Solar Realms Elite)...I was still on my Amiga 500 by then. It was on BBS.
EverQuest is guilty for my first real Internet thingy...I used to cancel my internet subscribtion as soon as I stop to play EQ, and resume it only for EQ. To actually lose me as a customer, it took quite a descent, a fullfillment of undoing if you want...and it is all linked with the devs stubborness to enforce raiding on players. I play to progress/advance my character (the leveling game), whoever think that removing the final peaks (from a grouping/soloing point of view) from my path was acceptable isn't very wise.
[QUOTE="frozenthino"]mario kart 64 on kaillera_Bear
??? Whats that? How was Mario Kart ever online?
Numerous emulators offer online multiplayer, either through p2p (back in the day) or netplay (today). If you own the cartridge, and your friend owns the cartridge (and you both obviously own the N64), and your PC hardware is adequate for 5th gen emulation, you're good to go, provided you have the intelligence to configure the emulator.
return to castle wolfenstiend xbox.rawbwilsh
LOL! Same here I just couldnt remember at first. Although I think I played one match of Star War Galactic Battlegrounds with a friend before that but Wolfenstein was the first I spent any time with.
