I was going through my collection looking for something to play to pass some time and stumbled across a few old gems (Goldeneye 64, FF7, Contra ect....) and remembered the good old days. But I also saw some of the stuff that I keep only because I never sell any video games back. Check my collection you'll understand. But one stood out in particular: Halo 2. I never got too big into Halo immediately. I was more of a ps2 kinda guy. But when I moved off to college my roomate introduced my to what I thought was the next great FPS series. Halo 2 comes out and I think i played it about 2 hours. That was enough. I though the story, gameplay, and characters all took a major step back. Not to mention the people on line.......i was expecting so much more out of the "legendary sequel" but it died on the vine. What was yoru biggest gaming disappointment?
My biggest gaming letdown was probably halo 2 aswell because i played it about 5-6 hours but the characters and sequel all " died on the vine" sequel was rubbish and storyline was too
My biggest disappointment is definitely Dragonball Z Sagas. I was still a naive impulse buyer back then, so I immediately went out and bought it after seeing it's epic commercial. (Well, it looked epic to me at the time).
most people have probably never heard of it, but line rider unbound for DS was pathetic. I played it for a total of about 30 minutes and hate it. I was really excited about it too because i am a big fan of line rider.
My biggest gaming letdown was with Panzer Elite Special Edition. I purchased the game, and the game does not play on my PC, which is a Core 2 Duo E8200 with 4 MB RAM, and an ordinary graphics card of NVIDIA 8400 series. How do I get the CD to install the game on my PC?
Probably not my biggest let down, but devil may cry 4 when you got half way you just play the rest of the levels backwards, shocking I have to say a let down as I never played a dmc game before i wasdisappointedin the lack of creativity.
My biggest let down ever was Kingdom Hearts. I was looking soooooooo forward to it. It seemed like the most perfect game for me ever and I anticipated it forever. Then I played it, and it was one of the worst games I've played to this day. Boo.

I hope to Christ you meant 4GB, not 4MB lol. I was disappointed by PoP Warrior Within because they completely unnecessarily changed the feel of the series to be more pseudo-mature. I absolutely love the Orange Box, but at the time of release I didn't have a machine capable of running it as smoothly as I wanted, so I got the Xbox 360 version instead. Worst decision of my LIFE. I know that FPS's are made for the PC, but TF2 was downright broken due to an infestation of modders.
Resistance Fall of Man, I fell for the hype. I don't know why I didn't sell it sooner; after I beat the extremely short story once, I never played it again. (Except for when a friend wanted to try it.) It was so boring and I don't know why I kept playing it. And there was very little emphasis on the story.
This. I really wanted to like Spore, but it was far too linear and easy for it's own good. Other then that, probably the story in Modern Warfare 2 (protip, you can't fit a Tom Clancy story into 5-second cutscenes.)
Fable 2 was a let down for me. It was so quick like the first one. I also don't like how you coud make so much money later on and never get the chance to use it. I mean you could end up buying some cool gears or them dolls from someone online but what is the seller going to do with all that money anyways.

A let down may not be right to say here. The only downside to ME1 as the weak wide missions. Hopefully thats fixed in ME2.

I felt GTA4 was the best so far. I couldn't put it down. Id say the biggest let down was RE5
Grand Theft Auto 4 - I've already given it about 3 or 4 chances. It's just dull and boring. It feels like wii bowling, but after it has gotten played out beyond belief--you may pick it up and play it for 10 mins, but then..
Super Mario Sunshine - I think it's great nowadays, but when it landed I was a little underwhelmed.
Halo 2 - Oh wait, this one exceeded my expectations.
Kotor - It didn't feel like Star Wars and fiddled with the mythology too much. The game ran pretty slow as well.
I would say Modern Warfare 2's plot, but I had low expectations for that game anyway. I gues my biggest gaming let down would have to be Two Worlds sucking. I was really psyched about the game but it wound up being complete garbage.
