Maximum Carnage is probably my favorite SNES game. Marvel Super Heroes: War of the Gems was good too, but I don't know whether that counts since it wasn't based soley on the Spidey franchise.

My favorite is Ultimate Spider-Man for the PS2(which you forgot in the OP btw), followed by Maximum Carnage. I like most of those games actually, Spider-Man is one of the few superheroes to consistently get mostly decent games.

"Ultimate Spider-Man", most certainly. That game and "HULK: Ultimate Destruction" were the best super hero games ever made for that generation.

Maximum Carnage on SNES. By the way, Spider-Man 2 was on GameCube as well.

That's actually pretty tough. I like Spiderman, and Spiderman 2 for GC a lot. I like Spiderman for N64 a lot. I like the GBC spiderman quite a lot too. Ultimate Spiderman isn't the best of the bunch, but that's a pretty good game too. I'd say Spiderman for N64/PS1/DC is my favorite though.

Spiderman on the PS1. I have fond memories of playing the game when I was younger, and still play the game to this day.

this and the sequel were both good games. I also had fun with Spiderman 2 on the PS2 , though 3 was rubbish.

Spider Man (DC, N64, PS1) I actually played all three versions. Dreamcast version has the best graphics and draw distance.

Agree with you on each game. What about Spider-Man: The Movie? Did you like that one?

I LOVED it. It's probably my favorite Spider-Man game. The controls were fantastic, it had a lot of action, and unlocking Green Goblin to play as after beating the game was soooo freaking cool. It wasn't just an alternate costume or skin either, you actually gained all of his abilities and got to use his Goblin Glider and weapons.

Although it's been a while since I've played most of these, and some of them I haven't even played before, the original Spider Man for PS1 was one of my favorites back in the day. I literally played the crap out of that one when I was little! Not all aspects of the game please me today, but it's still a really good playthrough IMO.

I'll go with Spiderman (GBC). I just recently got it a week or so ago. Its a fun little game. U can easily break the levels though.(some). I enjoyed Ultimate Spiderman(PS2) too. But I havent played it in years so I'll go with the recent one.

Out of all of those, it might just be when I played the demo for the one on PlayStation - which I ended up getting on the DreamCast that let you 'feel' like you had his powers and gave you a fully-3D environment to use them in. Spider-Man (the movie game) is probably my 2nd favorite.
