I spent 12 hours playing Serious Sam: The First Encounter with a couple of breaks. Counter-Strike: Source almost beat that time though. Longest I've played straight of CS:S was about 10.5 hours.
I had one gaming marathon in my life, it was right after finals: I got my new PC and picked up KOTOR1. I played it from start to the credits - something like 21 hours.
That'll be my life record, there ain't no way I'm trying to play that long again:P
like 32 hours i think... my friend was at my house and we played championship manager 03/04 from like 1 in the afternoon to 9 the next evening before tragically his mum picked him up
Probably over 24 hours. I remember playing Fallout 3 from about 7pm on the Saturday when I got back from work until sometime on the Monday morning, maybe about 8am.
I had the house to myself so I moved down my speakers from upstairs and brought down my "gaming chair" - which is in fact a 15 year old Walnut Rocking Chair :)
I don't really keep track or anything. Although I have come home on a friday evening and played til saturday mid morning on a couple of occasions. So probably like 18 hours or so.
I used to be able to just sit down and play for 10 hours at a time, but now I can bear to play for even more than 2 hours. I guess i'm getting old, any more than 2 hours and I just get too tired to enjoy anything nowadays.
I played Twilight Princess all the way through when I got it. I remember starting it at some point in the afternoon and playing all the way through the night .
I never play for more than 2 or 3 hours, but one time, a few friends of mine got together and we had a LAN party in my basement with about 6 of us playing Red Alert 3 and Age of Mythology, and probably played from 6pm to about 3 am. Ouch, my wrists. MY WRISTS!
During the old days, would get a bunch of people together on Friday for a PC LAN and not stop until Sunday. Only breaks were for getting food but even then we'd start up again once we got back. During my night owl days with no job and WoW, I could easily do 24hrs. Man, my sleep cycle was so messed up then. ZG at 5pm, MC at 8pm, then Aussie ZG at 5am. Ahh, back when WoW was simple.
Never really clocked it, but my guess would be somewhere between 12 and 16 hours, it's not unusual for me to sit down and play 4-6 hours at a time though.
I've had a couple of sessions the last summer vacation, like 14 hrs straight TF2, that was like the first week I got into it. And I also remember on a few occasions playing around the auction house in BattleForge for around 10 hrs and earning enormous amounts of its paid currency.
I don't usually play for long periods of time but when I bought Mass Effect 2 I kept playing and when I saved my playtime was 6 hours.Immortal--
Same here, when you start playing, theres no way to stop. Btw, isn't that the police chief from case 5 in the first Phoenix wright?(the one in your signature) I friggen loved that game.

it was kotor for me too when i was about 12 i played that game for like 12 hours straight. it took me a lot longer to beat the game though.
I remember playing Ratchet and Clank 2 going commando for like 7 straight hours to complete it the first time I got it and since then have completed it 4 more times and is still my 4th fav game ever
Probably when i got super smash bros brawl, i got it at the midnight release and played it till 6pm the next day. I remember going to my friends after and they said "man you look terrible what happened" lol.
Most longer session last around 10 hours. It's usually games like Diablo II, Enemy Territory, GTA, Oblivion.
The longest overall session must've been Multi Theft Auto: San Andreas, the online race mod of GTA: San Andreas. I played one complete week on average 10 hours a day. There was a scoring on a server for every player. When I started to play, they were far ahead. After that week I was 1st and some people thought I'm cheating, especially one arrogant prick.
It would definately have to be during my WoW days. Never have I played a game as much as that. I remember facepalming when seeing my played time being like hundreds of hours. I'm pretty sure on a weekend I would wake up in the afternoon and play most of the day only stopping to get food/bathroom etc. Stopping at like 11:30-12:00am. I'm pretty sure I took like a 20 min break every now and then though. There was a single night I remember though, when I finished a raid, and it being like 4 in the morning, because I didn't realize I started one at midnight. God damn... If I did what I mentioned previously (playing all day, with breaks), that would make that gaming session like...16 hours - whatever amount of time I took for little breaks LOL. Other than that, I've never played a game more than like 6 hours, only with WoW.
