What would you like more new innovative games or sequels of great games?

I know what some of you are thinking, you have to have new games to have sequels but what if from here on out you could have either strictly new games no sequels or sequels but no new games.

I'd like to see more new IP. Sequels are great (well... most of the time) but I would rather see something new and untested rather than the same stuff reiterated a million times.

Sequel. Innovative does not necessarily always equate to fun. Cooking Mama and Trauma Center were an absolute bore for me. A great game is a great game, whether it's the first in the series or the 2nd or the 10th, as long as it hasn't gotten too old.
