What would you like the next GTA location to be?

So we all know GTA V will be back in San Andreas/Los Santos but where would you like the series to go after that? Back to an old location like Liberty City (New York) or Vice City (Miami) or something new?

Personally I'd most like to see Detroit (crime ridden, I live right across from it so it's familiar), Baltimore (if you've seen The Wire, you know why) or London, England (something new, but still english language), how about you?


I don't think we need the seperate islands aproach any more either. I'm also a big fan of one big highly detailed city over multiple smaller cities (ala san andreas).

This. There are tons of intresting cities in Europe, it's not all just America. :P

Vice City and then all the recent GTA locations will be done!

I'm from Hong Kong and I would be very happy to see the next GTA set in Hong Kong. I think it would perfect because in Hong Kong you have the very modern setting with all the tall skyscrapers in the city and in contrast you will also have the more traditional Hong Kong, the more grittier and exposed side of the city. Then there is the whole Triads/mafia theme which I think would be amazing, people who have watched HK gangster movies from the 90s and early 00s will probably agree with me.

Florida- It could feature Vice City, and be just Vice City or do what V is doing and also have the swamplands, and a few other smaller Florida cities like Jacksonville and my own Tampa.

Las Venturas- The updated Las Venturas, with surrounding desert and small cities. Would be nice to see.

San Fierro- Same reasoning, I want to see how they updated it, but this one seems like likely then Venturas or Vice City.

Seattle- Seems like a neat new place to choose. Mountains, always raining, it would be similar to Liberty City but with wildly different architecture, weather and surrounding areas.

London- It could be like Layer Cake: The Game, or just do a big awesome focus on the England crime scene

I live in Florida so I'd like to see them come back here they could have Vice City and then just build on with other areas like Tampa.

Anywhere but London. I find it hard to play a game full of English accents.

I'd like the series to stay in America, as I'm mostly familiar with the current issues there so I understand the jokes. But I suppose there are other places that could be interesting, like Johanesburg, SA for its high crime rate.

Anywhere outside the US. I'd love to see them go to England, Ireland, Italy, Germany, Russia, Japan... Somewhere completely new, with more of an exotic feel about it.

The Pacific Northwest. 2 major cities, several national forests, several mountains, dozens of bodies of water, Vancouver Island and Sasquatch. What could be better than that?

Somewhere outside the US would be a nice change, I would love Paris or London, I would say Sydney but they have enough trouble trying to sell GTA's in Australia.
